Story
Hello there, I'm Daisy! At 8 years young, I've got a heart full of love to give you! My friends say I'm sweet, friendly, and smart, but I'll let you be the judge of that. I'm independent, preferring my own company to other dogs or cats, but I promise I'll be the best companion you could ask for. I'm mellow and cuddly, always ready for a gentle pat or a quiet evening in. Being a border collie mix, I'm smart, house-trained and loyal. I'm looking for a forever home where I can chill out on the couch with you and go for walks on the beach or in the park. Adopt me and I'll show you just how much love a senior dog has to give! WANT TO MEET THIS DOG? Please read the guidelines below provided by the rescue before you apply!! If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS! Apply at pawsfurrecovery.org We look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.

Meet Sammy: Your Kisses-and-Cuddles Expert! Hello there, I'm Sammy - a true survivor with a heart full of love! My journey wasn't the easiest - I spent three long weeks wandering the road until a kind-hearted lady scooped me up and brought me to the ranch. Now, I'm here with a wagging tail and endless affection to offer. I'm quite the looker, if I do say so myself, and I'm not shy about stealing a kiss or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. I've got a knack for spreading joy with my irresistible charm, and my love for companionship knows no bounds. Leash walks? Oh, I'm a pro at that! I'll strut right beside you with my head held high, ready to explore the world by your side. And you know what else I'm great at? Playing with the tiny humans - they're my absolute favorite playmates. Their energy matches mine perfectly! Are you ready to welcome a handsome, affectionate boy into your home? Look no further - I'm your man, Sammy! If you're seeking a loving companion who's ready to shower you with kisses, cuddles, and endless happiness, come on down to the ranch and meet me. I'll be the one wagging his tail and grinning from ear to ear, excitedly waiting to become your loyal and charming sidekick.

Story
My name is Layla, and I'm a local Palm Beach girl who was rescued from Palm Beach AC when I was just a pup, barely starting out in this big, wide world. Since then, life has been a bit of a rollercoaster with a couple of adoption attempts that, sadly, didn't work out. But I'm a firm believer in the saying "third time's the charm," and I'm filled with hope that this time around, I'll find my forever human. I'm in search of a kind-hearted soul, who is patient and understanding, who'll take the time to get to know me and guide me. I've got so much love to give and I just love my human so much that I find it hard to share them with others-I want to keep you safe and be your devoted protector. With a little bit of time and patience, I'm eager to learn that the world is a friendly place and that there's enough love to go around for everyone (including me!). I wouldn't mind having another doggy companion to share in our adventures; However, I must admit that cats aren't really my cup of tea. Despite my rocky start, I'm still young and dream of finding a place to call my own-a forever home filled with love and happiness. Maybe it will be yours! So, what do you say? Could you be the one to turn my hope into reality? Could you be my forever human? I can't wait to start our journey together. With hopeful paws, Layla

Story
Hi! My name is Moffat! Big Dog Ranch Rescue saved me from a breeder to hopefully find my forever home! I am a bit shy at first and take some time to open up, but once I do I am super sweet. I have moderate energy, so I like to go outside as often as I can. I do need some help working on my basic manners, but would be eager to learn with a family to call my own. I hope I can find my forever home soon!

Story
Scherzer is almost four years old and we have had him since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in getting him potty trained. We have two other dogs that we potty trained with no problem so we are completely stumped on why Scherzer still has accidents. I had him checked for a UTI awhile ago and the vet said there was nothing medically wrong with him. Within the last year he has also become extremely anxious. We used to take him to the dog beach but the last time we went, he wouldn't let anyone near us without barking and he got into a minor fight with another dog over a toy. Luckily nobody was hurt. Now we have a baby and I don’t want to have to worry about her crawling into a puddle of pee. I’m hoping that there is someone out there that is willing to work with him and give him a good home. He is very sweet and likes to cuddle.

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250. Story
"I'm Scotty. I am very pleased to meet you. I'm a very curious and smart boy, or so I'm told. My foster also brags about how I'm 'the perfect size' at about 40 lbs. I was found wandering the streets, but I still know how to use the bathroom outside. It may take me a few days to figure out what you humans consider outside, but I catch on quickly. I like to lay around with something to nib on and watch tv. I haven't met another animal I dont get along with, but I really just want belly rubs and head scratches. I give lots of kisses! I like walking on a leash and don't pull at all. I hope you'll come to meet me and let me show you my squirrel. " Because my previous owner never kept me on heartworm prevention, and I was kept outside I now have to be treated for heartworm. I am a young dog and the treatment will last three months and I will be fine when it is over..The rescue will pay for all of my care. You just bring the love! I can be fostered by you until I am finished! WANT TO MEET THIS DOG? Please read the guidelines below provided by the rescue before you apply!!
