You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Your New Best Friend ❤️   Hi, I'm a sweet little low-riding cutie, about 3–4 years old, and I'm ready to start the next chapter of my life. I've already been through so much. I recently raised six beautiful puppies, and now that they're growing up, it's finally my turn to find a family of my very own. I'm already trained, patient, and have wonderful manners. I get along great with other dogs and love being around people, making me a perfect addition to almost any family. My favorite things are the simple ones—going for walks, riding in the car with the windows cracked, curling up for a cozy nap, or just hanging out by your side while you go about your day. I'm happiest just being with the people I love.  All I'm looking for now is a forever home where I'll be loved as much as I've loved everyone else. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and so much love to give, I might just be the missing piece of your family.  Could that family be yours? ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 19, 2026, 6:34 pm

Hi, I'm Bugg, a handsome 1-year-old Collie-Border Collie mix with a striking black and white coat! 🐕 I'm ready to settle into a loving home, though I'm a bit shy at first — I'll need a patient, gentle person to help me build confidence. I do great with other dogs, and my moderate energy means I'm happy with a calm routine. I'm currently managing some treatable health conditions, so I'll need an owner committed to my ongoing care. Come meet me and let's take things at our own pace together! ❤️

Story
Hi there! I'm Naybi, a 2-year-old Border Collie mix, and I've been through a lot, but I'm not giving up! 💪💙 I was surrendered by my old owner after being hurt by stray dogs 🐕, and for a while, I was really scared and unsure of the world around me. But guess what? I'm healing! 🩹✨ I've started trusting again, especially with humans who show me love and kindness 🐾. It’s not always easy, but I'm getting braver each day. I’ve made a few friends along the way and am learning to trust again, bit by bit 💕. I may still need some time to feel totally safe, but I promise you—I'm a loyal, loving companion in the making! 🐶💖 With the right person who will be patient and gentle with me, I know I’ll become the best friend you've been looking for. Could that be you? 🏡If you’re ready to help me continue my journey and fill my life with love and safety, let’s meet! I can’t wait to show you how much love I have to give! 🌟🐾

Story
Meet Darby! A spirited seven-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie currently in Memphis, TN, whose joyful personality shines as brightly as his handsome tricolor coat. After the heartbreaking loss of his beloved pet parent, this AKC-registered boy is looking for a new loving home where he can continue sharing the boundless enthusiasm and companionship that make him so special. Weighing about 49 pounds, Darby greets each day with excitement, especially if a tennis ball is involved. For Darby, there is nothing better than an energetic game of fetch, and his favorite trick is returning the ball straight to your hand, ready for the next throw with a happy wag and eager smile! Darby is a high-energy companion who thrives when he has plenty of opportunities to run, play, and spend time with the people he loves. Whether it is a trip to the park, a game in the backyard, or simply sharing an active afternoon together, he is happiest when he can be part of the fun. He knows the command "sit," comes when called, is crate trained, house-trained, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He also relaxes well when left alone for short periods, making him an easy companion once he has enjoyed his daily exercise. Because Darby is an impressive jumper, he needs a securely fenced yard with a six-foot fence to keep him safe while he stretches his legs. He enjoys living alongside other dogs and would likely do well with another active canine friend who enjoys playtime. His experience with cats and young children has been limited, so slow, thoughtful introductions will help everyone feel comfortable. Loud noises, thunderstorms, and fireworks can make him anxious, and a calm, reassuring caregiver helps him feel secure during those moments. Darby would thrive in an active family, couple, or single adult who has the time and energy to make him a true playmate. Monthly brushing, an occasional bath, and dental chews keep him looking and feeling his best. If you are searching for an affectionate, athletic companion who will happily chase tennis balls for hours and fill your days with laughter, Darby is ready for his next adventure! Could your family be the one to share countless games of fetch and unforgettable adventures with this remarkable boy? To learn more about adopting Darby, please contact adopt@joyfulpets.com. Story
The more time Crystal spends in her foster home, the more we learn about this quirky little girl and what her perfect forever home will look like! 😂❤️ Crystal is currently around 17½ lbs and gaining back the weight she lost. She's still a very picky eater, but she's eating a healthy diet of dry food with homemade fresh farm turkey and meal toppers. And when it comes to treats... apparently freeze-dried beef liver is the only acceptable option. 😂 Her personality is really starting to shine! Crystal has a moderate activity level, loves to swim, plays tug with rope toys, nuzzles her stuffed lamb, and enjoys playing with her foster doggy siblings. Toys are no longer an issue for her at all! 👏 She has a silky, medium-length coat and has been shedding very little in her foster home. Crystal is also a smart girl! 🧠 She knows sit, stay, down, and "go to bed," is working on paw, and is learning to wait at the door before going outside. Potty training is still a work in progress... apparently going outside and then pooping in foster mom's office 30 minutes later seemed like a perfectly reasonable decision to Crystal. 🤦‍♀️😂 She does great when adult visitors come into the home! Her foster family simply asks everyone to ignore her and allow her to approach on her own terms. No barking or drama—she settles in beautifully. ❤️ After spending more time observing Crystal around children, we have decided that an adult-only home will be best for her. She is still learning boundaries and building confidence, and we want to set both Crystal and her future family up for success. Crystal is dog friendly, not cat friendly, and not suited for a home with livestock. She is still working on food resource guarding, but her foster family continues to work with her using positive reinforcement and management. And we can't forget Crystal's strangest new hobby... 😂 She sometimes runs up, wraps BOTH front paws around your leg, and lets her back end drag while you walk! Apparently Crystal thinks she's a cat. 🤷‍♀️🐈😂 For that reason, she needs a family steady on their feet who can handle her goofy antics! Crystal has come SO FAR, and every day we're learning more about the smart, playful, affectionate, and slightly weird little dog hiding underneath all that fear. 🩷 She's not the right dog for every home—but we know her perfect person is out there. 🐾 Crystal is available for adoption! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sazzy came to our home when her owner went into memory care. She is a sweetheart. She is easy to care for and learns very quickly . She has had some training  and knows the commands to sit and down. She comes quickly when called and is use to walking on  a leash. She responds to the sound ack and hss to stop  a behavior. We taught her to stay out of the kitchen when we were in it in a very short time. Her favorite thing is a belly rub. We wish we could keep her but  our corgi and her have a problem with  each other. I believe she would do well with elementary age and older kids.  She loves to be petted or just be around  her people.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 19, 2026, 6:34 pm
