Story
Rama has spent the last two years of her life, enjoying an off leash dog Beach for at least a couple hours every day where she is absolutely perfect socially with the other dogs even if dogs are a little domineering towards her she knows how to de-escalate essentially any social situation so that part of drama is really phenomenal. She understood awfully training essentially right away. In a classic trauma like response, her personality has not come out until she has felt super super comfortable, which is essentially taken a couple years. I wasn’t familiar with quite how hypervigilant this breed is even though she’s rather chill compared to a lot of of her cohorts within the breed. She’s not great if you live in the suburbs as she loves to bark in, her bark is really loud. She would do well in a home with one or two other stable dogs. She does have resource gardening issues but as long as you feed her separately, it should be fine. Also safely lives with a cat

Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases. Story
What can we say about this girl? She has pins and plates in her back leg so she has a fun little pirate walk sometimes, but this has NEVER slowed her down! She is a fun puppy that just wants to explore whatever life throws her way. She is all about playing and being a total goofball, but will curl up in your lap, over your back, or anywhere she can get close to you to take naps. And she naps HARD! She’s been thriving in foster care and hasn’t met a stranger animal wise, even if she did have to learn to not mess with the cats the hard way. She’s ready for her forever home and deserves one where she’s going to be loved dearly and forever.

Story
My name is Opal - I am a quick learner ! I love running and treats. I am house trained, leashed trained and love kids! Per the vets: Opel has Border Collie features specifically because of her speckled faces and legs. Just under 35 #, she can be timid one minute and full of kisses moments later. Very friendly dog, and will be a great house dog. Eats in her crate for meals. House/Crate trained - loves the doggie door, and A/C but not those gnats. Her one blue eye sparkles in the sunlight. Her favorite trick is to pretend she's just watching you plant flowers, then the next time you see her she has one of the plastic saucers I use for my potted plants - she is clever ! Like most puppies, she enjoys a good mud puddle or playing tug of war with cheap door rugs. She crawls when she gets fussed at - trying to act all innocent and lovey dovey - it certainly works! Hard to tell, but I think the sun is making my freckles blend together - but I am still cute. My mama is a smaller size German Shepard mix, my daddy, unknown ! I have several puppy sisters, plus big dogs to teach me to run and play, but so far there no cats where I live now. I've been around loose yard cats and didn't even look at them twice, but I was younger & now I know Dog's Rule. Opal would gladly swim in a pond or baby pool if I my hooman would let me. Opal says I just love water, putting my feet in a big bowl, or my foster washing my face! Opal let kids she just met crawl in the crate with her at nap time. Opal is full of kisses and so gentle - she loves being with people. Opal has been spayed, very ready to go to her furever home to be a part of your furever family. She just needs a chance for a real furever home - she is ready and willing to learn the basics of your home!

Story
This is BIG Mikey. Mikey is from an Oops litter. His mom is a Labrador Retriever /Collie mix and dad is a sweet, lovable bully. BARC has him and his litter mates up to date on vaccines, microchipped and pays for neutering when ready. Mikey is a playful and intelligent pup who would make an awesome best friend and play mate. Kids would be safe with this fellow around as he is going to be big. No one will know he is a teddy bear. You can apply for Big Mikey online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com

Story
Lily was adopted from a rescue and has now been surrendered to us due to a change in their life situation. She is a young cattle dog with lots of energy. Lilly would be perfect for a family, as long as they have a large fenced area for her to run. They said she likes to play outside with you and snuggle inside with you. Lily would likely benefit from another dog to play with. She is not fully housetrained yet, so will still need some due diligence on your part. A little gentle training can go a long way. Lilly is also still learning to walk on a leash, which tells us she hasn`t done it a lot in her life yet. Come and meet this precious puppy 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Lilly is less than a year old and on her second home. Let`s make it permanent for her! She is spayed, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.

Story
Ace was surrendered due to his family moving. He was described by his owner as friendly towards people and cats but unsure about dogs. Ace was not aggressive, just timid around them. We are guessing he probably was not around other dogs on a regular basis. Ace has not been fully potty trained yet, so continued gentle training would be required. He is very high energy and attention seeking and will need lots of attention. Ace just wants to please you so much we believe he will learn quickly. Come and meet him 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Ace is neutered, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.
