This girl is just under a year old and is a 35 pound Border Collie mix. She seems to prefer life solo without any other dogs. She may warm up outside of the kennel environment. We are unsure how she does with cats. She was originally found as a stray with her brother who was already placed in a home and is doing very well.   She has a very sweet demeanor and likes to cuddle. She will zoom around the fenced yard and come up for pets and snuggles. We believe she will do well in home, learn quickly, and be a great little companion. Raven is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is waived to an approved adopter. We believe she will be fine in a crate and quick to potty train despite spending the last couple of months in a kennel environment. We got Zeus from a local pet store when he was around 6 months old, he will be 4 on May 31. Around a year ago he started getting aggressive with our male pit bull, and nothing we have tried has worked. We have had to keep them completely separate in the house, so I feel like he needs to be the only dog in the house. He LOVES to run outside, and his squeaky toys! He has anxiety, and he doesn't do well in a crate. I really want to find him a good home so I don't have to surrender him to a shelter.

Carman is a dainty border collie mix, approximately 8 years old, that loves to cuddle and be a couch potato with her family. She is an affectionate gal once she gets to know you. In her case, patience makes the heart grow fonder as she apparently has some emotional scarring from her younger years. She is timid when meeting new people and prefers women over men. Once she does bond to her family, she is also extremely protective in regards to other dogs. She needs to be the ONLY pet, no exceptions. For this reason, we highly recommend a fenced yard for exercise as a means of preventing dog to dog interactions that frequently happens on walks. He is an Australian Shepherd looking for a new home. Bear has grown up around kids and has always lived with a dog buddy (Molly, also up for adoption.) He has never been around cats.   Bear has had some limited experience inside a house and has primarily been outside in recent months. His owner reports no problems when he has been inside. We have no doubt he would adjust to life in the house and want that for him. We feel a fenced in yard would be crucial for this boy. Bear knows a few commands, but tends to jump up when excited. Bear loves splashing in a kiddie pool and chasing bubbles in the summer. Bear is a very friendly boy and has been a very good companion.   Bear will need one grooming appointment and one vet appointment to be fully brought up to date and included in his adoption fee of $175.
