Ellie would do best in a home with older children due to her high energy. No cats for her. She is not house and crate trained but she's working on it.? Hello everyone! Meet Lucie aka Lucille! Lucie is a 5 month old 25 pound border collie husky or shepherd mix. She is fostered with small kids, small dogs, large dogs, kittens, and adults cats along with a house guinea pig. She is amazing with everyone and everything. Her house manners are excellent, she is silent in her crate. She has only had one crate accident so far but she foster mom works 9 hours a day so we can’t blame her at all for that one! She is very affectionate and extremely intelligent! We expect her to be around 60-70 pounds fully grown! Adoption donation fee is $400 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. We are heartbroken to have to make this decision, but due to an unexpected family emergency, we are looking for a loving new home for our amazing dog. This has nothing to do with his behavior or personality — he truly is a wonderful dog and this decision has been incredibly difficult for our family. He is extremely loving, smart, loyal, and fully housebroken. He does very well with children, especially autistic children, and has always been gentle, patient, and comforting. He thrives on love and companionship and would make an incredible addition to the right family. We are looking for a safe, stable, and caring home where he will be loved as much as he is here.
