If you are interested in adopting this animal from us, please visit our facility at 6301 U.S. Highway 68 East, Benton, KY 42025. All adoption applications and interviews must be completed in person at the facility after meeting the animal. All unaltered animals are required to be spayed/neutered by the adopter's veterinarian by the date indicated on the animal's adoption contract. We adopt animals out within a 3 hour radius from our Benton, KY facility.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTIONBuddy - 10 months old, neutered male, Border Collie/Aussie mixIf you're looking for a dog that can go go go all day long then be ready to turn around and do it again then this is the one you want! Buddy is as high strung as they come but don't hold that against him. He is a high drive dog that needs a job! He is smart as a tack and we truly think the sky is the limit with the training you could do with him. He came to us as an owner surrender from an older couple who just couldn't keep up with him. He would do fantastic in an active home whether that's on a farm or a big backyard. He is great with kids and he is quickly learning how to be a gentleman on a leash, how to keep a clean kennel and has even learned how to sit and fetch plus he LOVES a good car ride! He is good with other dogs as long as they allow him to be the boss. He grew up by himself so he is still learning how to take social cues from the others. He has not been tested with cats but due to his breeding and drive we think a home without them running around and tempting him would be best. His adoption fee is $275 and this will include his DAPPV booster, deworming, current flea and tick, neuter, heartworm test (he is negative!), 1 year Rabies vaccine and a microchip. Story
​Scout is a 28 lb, neutered Blue Heeler / Jack Russell mix. He is nearly 2 years old, healthy, and high-energy. I adopted him as a puppy, but my heavy work schedule and travel commitments mean I can no longer give him the active time and attention he thrives on. He is nearly 2 years old. I adopted him as a puppy from a coworker who had a more territorial dog that didnt like him. He does well on a leash, but I know he would rather "run around" But that isnt safe in the neighborhood. He plays well with other dogs when at sitters. I have a cat and his herding instincts kick in and he hovers around her getting in her business. She doesnt seem to mind. Overall he is a good boy just I need to find a new home for him soon.
