Story
Meet Blue He is a 2 year old blue heeler that has been through more than most. After his owner passed away, he was let off his tether and ended up with an injury to his ear, something Mardi Paws graciously stepped in to cover. No family ever came for him or his brother. He spent his entire life chained outside and is now learning what it means to just be a dog. He’s neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm positive, and will need a committed adopter willing to see him through treatment. Give him the time and structure he’s never had. He’s not a fan of cats and can be selective with male dogs, so he’ll need the right home. Breed experience is strongly preferred. Heelers are smart, driven dogs and he’ll need someone who understands that. He’s not perfect, but he deserves a chance at a real life. The right person is going to get a loyal, one of a kind companion. Please consider opening your heart & home to Blue. Story
Boss is a male blue heeler mix born about 11/16/12. He is up to date on shots and neutered. He and his siblings were dropped in the parking lot of a local pound(guess the person who had them was to chicken to go in and face what he/she was about to do). The shelter was out of room so these sweet babies were going to be put down immediately, we were called and were able to get these guys into a foster home where they now await adoption.
