Story
In Baton Rouge-Casper is a 2 year old super sweet big ball of fluff. He’s almost 60 pounds. He’s fully vetted and has been neutered. He is great with other dogs and plays with my other foster for hours. He is sweet with my 3 yr old granddaughter and plays well with her standard female. He’s a little too interested in my female mini but hoping as the testosterone lessens that will improve. He has had a rough start in life. His original owner is in hospice. The hospice coordinator took him to her parents but dad is in a wheelchair and he got loose and hit by a car. They paid for his leg to be fixed but knew they weren’t the right placement. Casper can run like the wind as you would expect a 2 yr old Aussie to do and needs a family to keep up with his energy. A fenced in yard is preferred. If you think Casper is perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additioal $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Meet Spinach, an energetic and lovable ball of joy! This high-energy pup is always ready to run, jump, and play—he’s got endless enthusiasm for life and will keep you on your toes. Spinach already knows `sit,` and with a little patience and some training, he’ll be the best companion you could ask for. He’s possibly housetrained, but might need some consistency to get fully settled in his new home. Spinach can be a bit jumpy when he’s excited (and he’s often excited!), but with a little guidance, he’ll learn to be the calm and well-behaved pup you’ve been waiting for. If you’re an active person or family looking for a dog who will keep up with your adventures, Spinach is your guy! He`s ready for his forever home, where he can burn off all that energy with love and attention. Could that be with you?I am located at Companion Animal Alliance! CAA is open for adoptions Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. No appointments are necessary, please stop by to see me!All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to go before adoptions are finalized. Please email adopt@caabr.org for any further questions!
