Hi! My name is Rosie. About 6 years ago I was born, and my new owner came to pick me up when i was 6 weeks old. I've been by her side ever since then. I would have to say I'm a pretty good, trained dog. I listen to everything my owner tells me. I don't go potty in the house, and I always find ways to cheer her up when Shes sad. Sadly, my owner has to relocate and can't take me with her, but i know for sure she will find me a good loving home. I like to play fetch, give cuddles and just being in your presence will make me happy!

Bette was rescued from the shelter from the last call list. She was extremely thin when she arrived at her foster home, weighing 22 lbs. This is what Bette's foster Mom said: Bette's surprisingly not food aggressive. She is very calm, quiet & loves to snuggle. She is great with other dogs of all sizes and loves to play. She has met the rabbits & chickens and she is much too interested in them! Bette is grateful for every comfort she is given and thrives on love/attention. She enjoys laying on the couch with her other foster siblings. Bette walks well on the leash, kennel trained & loves adventure.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society is now  following CDC guidelines for Covid-19 in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.  We are showing dogs and cats to prospective adopters, but only on the grounds outside our shelter. We will need appointment to show the animal and we will want to have social distancing of 6' while you are there and we are wearing masks.  We are doing Zoom interviews to see inside of your home since we aren't going into homes for home visit. We do come to your home before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we treat every medical need of animal once we take them in.  MCHS is a limited intake adoption center. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $125 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $75.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. For more info, call 662-564-2900.   ALICE GOT LUCKY: She got dumped on the streets after having puppies at 1 year old. She was skin and bones when her foster family found her and has turned her into a loving, loyal and smart girl. She is great around young kids, doesn’t growl or bite, loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Crate trained and potty trained, she knows several commands. She loves riding in cars and going on hikes.   Alice is a sponsored pet, which means she has met all the requirements of our shelter dogs to be on adoption list; she’s spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on all shots and heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventives.  If you are willing to give this sweet girl the love and care she deserves, email us at Dogsncats11@gmail.com or fill out application at http://Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org, go to “Adoption Info” tab and click on application.
