Story
Meet Daisy Queen! She is a 3 year old Border Collie mix. She has spent most of her life locked in a small outside kennel barely being fed. However, she has quickly learnt what toys are, how to walk on a leash and becoming socialized. She is still a little wary of men but learning that they can be safe. She will need a special home without small children. She is very nervous of new situations and will need someone that will go slow and work with her. She will be spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, heartworm tested and microchipped. If interested, please complete an application found on website. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in adopting, read about our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application on the Mo-Kan website.  A Mo-Kan application must be filled out to begin the process.(Sending an "Inquiry" via Petfinder does not constitute an application.)   Meet Chou Chou (aka Charlie) -- a 5-year-old tri-color Border Collie who believes life is better with a toy in his mouth and someone fun to play with! Chou Chou is smart, energetic, playful, and VERY good at toy collecting. Balls, discs, sticks -- you name it, he’s in! And yes, he can carry TWO toys at once. Because apparently one just isn’t enough. When playtime is over, this high-energy boy transforms into a total love bug. He loves belly rubs, giving hugs, and keeping your feet warm.  He adores people,  enjoys car rides and has pretty good leash, walking skills! Chou Chou is potty trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s looking for a breed-savvy, active home where he can be the only dog. Older or dog-savvy kids would be best. Chou Chou is more than ready for his forever family. Could you be the one who finally takes this handsome, double-toy-carrying, belly-rub-loving boy home? Interested in more info? The first step is to complete the application on the Mo-Kan website. Chou Chou would love to meet you! Chou Chou is being fostered in the Waynesville, MO area (near Rolla.)Click here to watch a video of Chou Chou.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2026, 9:58 am
