Bear is a 4yr old active herding breed dog that loves nothing more than hanging out in the backyard playing disc (and he is REALLY good at catching them too!) and hanging out to cuddle on the couch afterwards, He is loud, bossy, and opinionated just like any good corgi mix should be, so be prepared to put in the work to train this boy because he will be running the household in two-weeks tops if you don't! Besides fetch Bear also loves long walks and fun training sessions. He is incredibly smart and wants to please his people. While Bear loves ALL people, he is picky about his canine friends and prefers laid back and easy-going dogs to be his friends.

He was initially a stray in Oklahoma and was transferred to a Kansas City shelter, then to Mo-Kan. Dorito loves his people, is a very active and driven boy, and would likely make a great sport prospect.  He shows great focus, toy drive and a fantastic tug.  He has super fetch abilities and brings the disc right back to your hand.   Dorito enjoys interacting with the other dogs in large playgroups with dogs big and small.  It's unknown how he is with cats, however. Dorito is highly alert on walks and if walking too close to a roadway, may lunge after cars, but is easily redirected. He also can be a leash biter but stops when told. Though he’s good with other dogs in playgroups, he will bark and pull, sometimes lunge towards other dogs when out on a walk. He is very treat and toy motivated, affectionate, driven, friendly, happy-go-lucky, hyper. He does still jump on people and can be mouthy, especially when trying to get you to play with him.  He is neutered, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on monthly preventatives.
