Meet Tux, an incredibly sweet boy who is more than ready to soak up all the love you have to give! Tux originally arrived with another male dog named Atlas, and while we though they were a tightly bonded pair, Tux has happily proved us wrong. He has blossomed into a confident, independent pup who is absolutely thriving in his solo spotlight. He loves having the freedom to zoom around the yard at his own pace and with a mountain of toys without having to share a single one. Most of all, this affectionate guy is a true people-lover who craves human companionship and wants to be the absolute center of your universe. If you're looking for a joyful, playful, and devoted companion who will happily hoard all your affection, Tux is ready to be your one and only!

Story
Meet Violet — a beautiful bloom just waiting for the right garden to call home! Just like her namesake flower, Violet is sweet, bright, and impossible not to adore. This playful girl loves soaking up attention, enjoying playtime, and making new canine friends. Violet enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a companion who can match her fun-loving energy and playful spirit. She would thrive in a home with children 8 years old and older who can respect her boundaries and join in on her adventures. While Violet does well with dogs her size, she needs a home without smaller animals, including small pets and farm animals. With the right family, Violet is sure to blossom into the loyal, loving companion she was meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful best friend with a heart as lovely as a spring garden, Violet may just be your perfect flower.

Story
Meet Acorn, a sweet boy, who's looking for a patient and loving forever home. While his gentle in nature makes him a wonderful companion once he feels secure. Acorn already has some great fundamental skills; he is fully housetrained, walks well on a lead and has a very manageable medium energy level. Because he may experience some separation anxiety, he would thrive best with an understanding family who can spend plenty of time with him as he settles into his new routine.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Who do we like, Cinch? No one.   Okay, maybe not no one, but Cinch definitely doesn’t hand out trust freely. Cinch is a dog who takes a very long time to warm up to new people. Until he feels comfortable, he prefers his space and isn’t afraid to make that clear. Even offering him a treat can be tricky because he’s more likely to go after the hand than the snack.   This past weekend gave us a little bit of hope. Cinch went on an overnight trip with his foster mom to visit another foster’s home. This wasn’t their first meeting. In fact, she had visited several times before and Cinch wouldn’t allow her to pet him. But she didn’t give up. She never pushed him, never forced interaction, and never expected more from him than he was ready to give. This weekend was more of the same. She gave him space, occasionally tossed him a treat, and let him make the decisions. And eventually, Cinch decided she was good people. For most dogs that might not sound like much, but for Cinch it’s a huge milestone.   We’re looking for an extra special adopter for him. Ideally someone local to the Ronan area who would be willing to visit his foster home multiple times and allow Cinch to get comfortable before going home. He needs someone who understands that trust is earned on his timeline, not ours.   The bright side is that we know it’s possible. Cinch absolutely adores his foster mom, foster dad, foster brother, and his furry siblings, both cats and dogs. Once he trusts you, he’s all in.   Cinch isn’t the dog for someone looking for an instant connection. He’s the dog for someone willing to put in the time, celebrate the small victories, and let him show you who he is when he’s ready. And trust us, those victories are worth it. ❤️        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 30, 2026, 3:48 pm
