Story
Hello my name is Sebastian roybal and here we have 6 Boarder collie, husky, blue heeler mixed puppies that are about 9 weeks old now so they are ready to meet you and be taken to their forever homes. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or if you are interested. We are looking for good homes for these little guys and girls mainly because we raised the parents since they were pups and they are a huge part of our family to this day. Another reason we need them gone is my girlfriend and I are expecting a baby by December so we no longer have room for these little guys.

Or, how about these Border Collies in cities near Santa Fe, New Mexico

These Border Collies are available for adoption close to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Story
SMOKEY came into our rescue after a near death experience on one of the reservations we work with. He is shy with humans, but was being taken care of by a young girl and her family. Once he knows his humans he is playful and affectionate. Thanks to his family asking for help and our ability to step in with emergency veterinary care and rehab, he is alive, happy and healthy today :-) We estimate he's 2 years old. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, deworming and microchip. He is housetrained and crate trained. You must live in our adoption area (Abq, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, Los Alamos). We look forward to completing your family with a new fur baby! :-)April 21, 2024, 12:06 am

Story
Junebug is soon to be "paw-roled" from our Paws in the Pen program in partnership with the New Mexico Corrections Department! Each dog is paired with two inmate trainers and enrolled in a 24/7 8-week training program designed to equip the dog with a nice foundation of training that will help them succeed in their new home. Each of these dogs will go home potty and crate trained with a whole list of cues and basic behaviors; to ensure a successful adoption, we are providing four training sessions to adopters, so you can learn what your dog knows, and an invitation to weekly discounted drop-in classes. These dogs also go home with a biothane leash and collar, 6 months of heartworm prevention, are fully up-to-date on all vaccines and medication, and are spayed and neutered.Junebug is your typical, high energy, growing puppy. She loves to play - and when she's pooped, she passes out. She is very smart, and really thrives from the mental challenge, and sense of purpose the training in the program provides for her. With what looks to be a fair amount of border collie in her, she'll likely stay on the smaller side and will really blossom with someone who knows what working dogs love most (exercise, jobs, and stimulation). She'd likely be happy to find a home with another dog.

Story
Chase Male 3-5 years old 30 pounds Chase is a fun loving, affectionate, well behaved young man that was found as a stray. He and his brother, Cash, were found running loose in a park. After a thorough search to find their family was done, it was determined that they were most likely dumped at the park. We suspect they were out there for a while as they were very skinny when found. Considering what well behaved, sweet dogs they are, it is hard to imagine anyone doing this to them. Chase loves to play fetch and then take a nap. He can be entertained with a bone for hours. He does not hesitate to jump in the car for a ride. He is socialized and loves hugs. Chase is a very sweet boy that would make a great companion. He loves to cuddle up at night and is a good sleeper. Chase does well with the resident dog in his foster home. Chase will need a safe, secure fenced in yard. Chase is a courtesy listing and does not belong to Me and My Shadow Dog Rescue. You can reach his foster mom at 972-342-3358 or mammerlin@yahoo.com for additional info or to set up a meet and greet.
