Story
Theoden is 7 years old and generally a good boy. I've had him for six years after adopting him from the city shelter (they found him on the street). He loves hiking and especially snow! He does not like cloudy or stormy weather. I listed behavioral issues and experience needed because he can get very anxious especially around storms, and will not behave well on walks near/at night I think due to being homeless his first year in a city with excessive fireworks/gunshots. He is smart and can easily learn tricks and is food motivated. The reason I seek to rehome him is because I'm single and can only walk him at night which he doesn't do well with. I also have an illness now that will further strain how well we can meet each other's needs so I know I can no longer give him the life I wanted to, including him having to spend too much time alone. He's never been around kids, and has shown food aggression toward two dogs, so experience or at least vigilance about separate feeding is needed.

Story
Still in Foster Care-June 2026 April 2026 -Introducing-Connery approx. 2yr male Border Collie x. His story is the same old situation of a stray (most likely dump) infested with ticks & fleas, emaciated (33#) and weak, had difficulty standing correctly as his back legs would not hold him up...fast track on needed medical attention to determine if he was severely injured or weak from hunger? Took to vet for assessment on what is the best option, vet stated he was in bad shape and there may be a chance for him, decision made that he'll stay at vet until vet determines his progress. He was picked him up 4 days later and still is in guarded condition but hopeful that he'll make a healthy recovery. Despite whatever this young dog had been through he shows that he wants love and safety. He will have this and hope that his future person is out there when he's ready for his next journey. May2026 -When you just sit back and watch a dog who was dealt with some difficult cards of life and attempt to give him an opportunity for love and safety it's incredible to watch things unfold. He's now weight bearing on all 4 legs without tipping over. Both of my dogs are being kind to him by allowing him to hang out. My position is to make his new journey pleasant and to build confidence for him to shine. Good job Connery Connery's journey continues - Feeling safe and can trust....what a transformation this youngster has come into....so proud that he's forgiving and loves to love! This Sunday 5/10 will be 1 month that he was shown kindness and patience. Arenas Valley Animal Clinic with a one man "Dr. Clay Allred" and his mighty staff always steps up and mission ready to educate and assist our four-legged animals with the knowledge and skill for getting them out of arms way. THANK YOU!! Connery is improving in leaps and strides. Still a bit underweight (37#) but looking pretty darn good. Both of my dogs will look at me and seems to say....hummm he's still here? Oh well....let's show him how to be a real dog and teach him some silly antics. He's finding that a couple of toys can be fun, but rather be a pesky foster brother and tag along with my female "Naughty Kanani" Connery says -Kanani loves to show me stuff and runs to tell my foster about what I'm up to I'm really hoping that wherever my "hooman" is, will come soon and start our new adventure together. Please contact my foster as I'm sure that she'll give you the "good, bad, and ugly" ...mostly "GOOD" cuz I'm a goodest boy! with my whole hearted luv - "Connery" aka Sean Connery 007

Story
This handsome boy is looking for some fun and entertainment! He loves to play with toys, and will pick his favorite and let you know that you are welcome to share in the game! He enjoys going for a long walk, and would love to be invited to go for a hike in the foothills! Even though he is not sure about the pool in the play yard, he is willing to get his front paws a little wet! Maybe you could show him how much fun a wading pool or stream can be! This boy is a delight, and has so much potential to be the very best forever member of your family!

Story
Meet darling Dion—a sweet, quirky little guy with a big personality! He`s bursting with enthusiasm and brains, just what you`d expect from a Border Collie mix. (Maybe there`s a dash of Cattle Dog in there too?)Thanks to his petite size, Dion is the perfect sidekick for all kinds of adventures. Ready to hit the trails? He`s game! Prefer a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood? That sounds pretty great to Dion too—as long as he gets to spend time with his favorite people.Speaking of favorite people, Dion`s biggest superpower is the way he loves. His favorite volunteers have noticed that once he knows you, he forms wonderfully strong bonds and is a loyal companion through and through. He`s also friendly when greeting other dogs at the fence and may enjoy meeting a well-matched canine buddy. If you`re looking for a fun-sized best friend with a bright mind, a loyal heart, and plenty of love to share, Dion is ready to make your life a little more joyful. All that`s missing is his forever home—could it be yours?
