Story
Well, hello there! I'm Ducky, the delightful 5-month-old bundle of fur you didn't know you needed until now! If you're after a pup as unique as a unicorn, well, you've stumbled upon a real gem (though I promise I'm less mythical and more cuddly). I have a dazzling brindle and white coat that would make even the most seasoned fashionistas jealous. I'm not just a pretty face, though; at a petite 28lbs, I'm the perfect size to snuggle up with without fear of losing me in the sea of pillows—or worse, your purse (because let's face it, that's a real possibility with some pups)! Let's talk about my glamorous(definitely being sarcastic here) origins – picture a ditch, a makeshift home, and a brave band of ditch-dwellers including my mom, Spring, my maybe-dad, Froggy, and a handful of tiny siblings. It was survival mode with a side of ditch drama, let me tell you! Thankfully, our tale took a turn for the better when some kind-hearted souls rescued us from ditch life and introduced us to the wonderful world of fluffy butt families at PPFT. From ditch-diver to potential couch potato, that's my transformation story in a nutshell! Now, if I want to earn myself a place inside your home...I should probably start talking about my amazing personality! Now, about that active lifestyle... sure, I'm down for it, but let's not get too ambitious. I'm more of a "let's chase butterflies" kind of gal than a "let's conquer Everest" pup. Leash training? Let's just say I'm a bit of a drama queen when it comes to those scary strings, but I'm getting there. Slowly. Hiking? You mean a fancy walk with extra leaves? Not my scene yet, but I'll practice my nature appreciation from the comfort of the backyard. Fetch? Ha, that's a good one. I prefer the "you throw it, you fetch it" game. Keeps you humans on your toes! Toys? Oh, they're fun until they're not. I'll play, but only if the toy matches my current mood and aesthetic. Car rides? Oh, I'm a pro at being a backseat snoozer. Just don't judge my snoring. Alright, let's spill the beans on my social antics. Meeting new people? It's like a dramatic soap opera in my head. First, I'm the shy protagonist, then cue the treats and belly rubs, and suddenly I'm the star of the show, demanding all the attention! Jumping on people? Guilty pleasure alert! I can't help but show off my vertical leap, especially when there are treats involved. Who needs a trampoline when you've got Ducky, don't worry though...I tend to only show off my skills at certain times and only with my people...strangers...I would rather keep my awesome jumping skills hidden for the time being. Other dogs? At first, I play it cool like I'm too busy for canine chit-chat, but give me a chance, and I'll be zooming around with tails wagging in no time! Kids? Oh, I'm a pro at kid stuff. My 14-year-old buddy can confirm that I'm the perfect partner in crime for adventures, cuddles, and maybe a sneaky treat or two. Cats? Oh, the eternal game of cat and duck! I'm on a mission to crack the feline enigma, one curious sniff at a time. Ready to hear all about my house manners?! Apartment life? Let's just say I've got a backyard soul trapped in this petite frame. Apartment living? Not my jam unless they've got a backyard elevator! Potty training? We're on a roll, folks! I nailed the all-night dry spell, but be prepared for my early morning wake-up call. Who needs an alarm clock when you've got Ducky? Kennel training? It's like trying to teach a fish to ride a bicycle – a work in progress, but hey, I'm open to new experiences! Chewing on things? Nah, I'm all about the chew toys. Unless your shoes have a secret bacon scent, then we might have a problem. Doggie door? We're in negotiations. I'm practicing my "open sesame" technique, but the door seems to have a mind of its own. Barking? I'm more of a canine commentator. I'll chime in with a bark or two, just to keep things interesting. Call me the four-legged narrator of life! Free roam of the house? Not yet, my friends. I'm still perfecting the art of "don't touch that" and "leave it." So, what do you say, folks? Ready to welcome this brindle beauty with open arms and a never-ending supply of treats? I promise to fill your days with laughter, snuggles, and just the right amount of mischief. Because let's face it, life is better with a quirky, talkative, and oh-so-lovable pup like me around! Let's make memories, chase squirrels (figuratively, of course), and embark on adventures together. Are you ready to add a splash of Ducky magic to your life? I'm waiting for my cue to steal your heart and become your favorite couch companion! 📍 Pickup Location: Hutchinson, KS 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3

Story
Ribbit! Hey there, folks! I'm Froggy, the one and only frog-tastic 1-year-old, 45lb Border Collie mix. And let me tell ya, I'm feeling froggier than ever today! So, here's the scoop about me, straight from the frog's mouth. I might seem a bit shy at first, but hey, who isn't? Give me some time and patience, and I'll be hopping around with love and playfulness! Oh, and did I mention I'm a chatterbox? Yep, when I get excited, I'll "ribbit" your ear off, telling you all about my adventures. Now, let's talk food. I'm a gourmet gobbler, okay? You put it in my bowl, and it magically disappears faster than you can say "hop to it." And at night, I'm all about that baby snuggles and chewing on a bone. It's the amphibian way, you know? So, future adopters, listen up! I'm the froggy friend you've been waiting for and I am going to prove it. 🐸❤️ Now, let me tell you about my journey. I came to these lovely folks after a bit of a rough start. Me, Spring, and her seven adorable puppies (who I may or may not be the father of, but let's keep that a mystery!)—along with Ducky, a puppy from a previous litter—were found living at the bottom of a ditch. Can you imagine? But here we are, survivors all the way, and we ended up in the shelter where, sadly, nobody came looking for us. But hey, every frog has a leap in their step, and I'm ready to hop into a new chapter! First off, let's talk about my "froggy finesse" with cars. Do I hop right in? Nope, I need a little boost, but once I'm in, it's hide-and-seek time! Cars become my secret hideouts, perfect for a game of peek-a-boo. Quiet lifestyle? Please, that's for the tadpoles. I'm all about the action, the excitement, the non-stop froggy fun! Leash walks? Well, let's just say I'm a work in progress. Froggy steps, people, froggy steps! Hiking? Hmm, maybe if there's a froggy spa waiting at the summit. But for now, I'll stick to exploring closer to the ground. Walks? Nope, not yet, but I'm ready to leap into the great outdoors and discover new froggy frontiers! Fetch? Nah, I'm more of a "watch you fetch while I supervise" kind of frog. Toys, though? Oh yeah, I'm a playful prince charming when it comes to ribbit-worthy gadgets. Water? Let's just say I prefer my adventures dry and land-based. Splish-splash isn't my kind of bash. 🐸✨ Meeting new people? I start off with my froggy poker face, a tad shy but secretly excited. It's like a surprise party every time! Around other dogs, I start off with my cool froggy demeanor, like, "Hey, what's hopping, pals?" But give me a minute, and I'm all about that playtime fun! I've got the moves to impress even the most stoic of canines. Do I jump on people? Well, just a tad. A froggy hop here, a froggy hop there. It's my way of saying, "Hey, I'm here, let's have some fun!" Kids? Oh, I've met our 14-year-old human and let me tell you, she's a froggy charmer! I'm all about those gentle pats and snuggles. Cats? Ah, the mysterious feline creatures. I'm curious, sure. But if Fluffy McHissypaws or Zoomy Whiskerface start the kitty marathon, I might join in for a chase. It's all in good though, right? Apartments? Nope, not for this froggy. I need a pad with space to hop, skip, and jump like a froggy boss. Can't contain all this froggy greatness in a tiny box! Digging? Ha, that's for the groundhogs! I'm more of a hop-and-explore kind of frog, leaving the dirt dramas to the underground crew. Chewing on things? Nope, not this froggy. I'm a connoisseur of toys, not furniture. Leave the gnawing to the beavers! Although, I did try to nibble on a squeaky toy once. It squeaked back, and we've been frenemies ever since. Big barker? Not on your lily pad! I'm more of a sophisticated froggy, saving my croaks for philosophical ponderings and deep froggy conversations. It's all about quality over quantity, you know! I'm a "Froggy" on a mission, navigating the murky waters of indoor living. Potty training? Well, let's just say I'm like a froggy scientist, experimenting with the laws of amphibian biology. Sure, there have been a few surprise puddles here and there. Blame it on the croaky alarm clock or a particularly riveting episode of "Froggy's Got Talent." But hey, I'm getting the hang of it, one hop at a time! Ribbit! That's my story, ribbit-told and ribbit-sold! From ditch to digs, I'm the froggy prince of playful paws and endless fun. So, if you're ready for a hoppy ending and a leap into laughter, let's make every day a froggy fairytale! 🐸💫 📍 Pickup Location: Hutchinson, KS 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3

Story
🌼 Meet Mayfly from the Spring Creek Litter! 🌼 Hello there! I'm Mayfly, the adorable little pup from the Spring Creek litter that is just under 6 weeks and I'm ready to wiggle my way into your heart! They say I'm a Border Collie mix with a possible hint of Aussie in me. With Mama being on the smaller side, I'm not likely to tip the scales past 40 pounds. Perfect for those looking for a snuggle buddy that won't hog the whole bed or require a new car just to get around! I may have started my life at the bottom of a huge ditch, but that's just the beginning of my story! Now, I'm on the lookout for a forever family who will cherish me as much as I cherish them. I've learned that family isn't just about blood—it's about love, care, and sticking together through thick and thin. One look at me and you'll fall in love with my tiny barks of protest and my adorable Yoda ears. I bet they'll only get more pronounced as I grow into them. I have this habit of cocking my head and perking my ears up when you talk to me—it's like I'm really soaking in every word you say! I'm a social butterfly (or should I say Mayfly?) who adores people and craves snuggles. If you're looking for a companion who's as attentive as she is adorable, then I'm your girl. When it comes to meeting new people, I like to show off my best moves. I'll strut my stuff with a wagging tail and a twinkle in my eye, ready to charm anyone who crosses my path. If there's a toy involved, even better—I'll gladly share my favorite squeaky toy and maybe even teach you a thing or two about fetch! You can bet I've got a playful side that's sure to bring a smile to your face! Picture this: I'm zooming around with a squeaky toy in my mouth, doing my best impression of a furry, four-legged race car. Vroom vroom! And let's talk about my energy level—I may wear out quickly, but that just means I'm efficient with my playtime. I'll give it my all, then happily curl up next to you for some well-deserved snuggles. After all, every adventure needs a good nap break, right? So, if you're looking for a furry comedian who knows how to have a blast and spread joy wherever she goes, I'm your girl! Meeting new friends is one of my favorite things! I've only met one other dog besides my sweet momma, and let me tell you, I was practically wagging my tail off with excitement. I'm always eager to make furry pals and have a blast together. While I love making doggy friends, I don't think I necessarily need another dog in my new home. I'm pretty adaptable and enjoy the company of humans just as much. Plus, I'm so charming and playful that I'll keep everyone entertained! As for cats, I saw the house cat once, and I was just so curious and respectful. I think with a little patience and a gentle introduction, we could get along just fine. Kids are the best! I had so much fun being held and cuddled by the kids who visited. I was playful and ready to pounce, but I also knew when it was time to curl up in their laps for a cozy nap. They're like built-in playmates and snuggle buddies all rolled into one! So, whether it's making friends with dogs, being respectful to cats, or having a blast with kids, I'm ready for it all! Oh, let's talk about potty training—every puppy's favorite topic, right? Well, here's the scoop from my end! I'm still mastering the art of potty training, but hey, who said learning can't be fun? I've got my little puppy brain working overtime, trying to figure out the whole "outside is for potty" concept. Sometimes I nail it, and sometimes, well, let's just say there might be a surprise or two indoors. But hey, we all have our oops moments, right? So, while I may not be a potty pro just yet, I'm definitely a pro at making every learning experience an adventure. Let's dive into why socialization and training are so important for me! You see, as much as I love to play and explore, I also need guidance and structure to become the best pup I can be. Socializing is about about meeting new friends, furry or not, and learning how to be the best furry companion ever and being exposed to different settings. I want to be that pup who can charm everyone with a wag of my tail and a friendly woof.....no matter where I am at! Now, onto training—I know, I know, it sounds like school, but trust me, it's super fun! Training helps me understand the rules of the household and teaches me cool tricks like sitting, staying, and maybe even rolling over (once I master the art of not toppling over first!). All this socializing and training isn't just for me—it's for my new family too! By teaching me the ropes, they're setting us both up for success. So, let's make a pact: I'll bring the puppy kisses and playful antics, and my new family will bring the guidance, love, and training we both need to thrive. Together, we'll be unstoppable! Who's ready to embark on this pawsome journey with me? 📍 Pickup Location: Broken Arrow, OK 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3

Story
🐾 Meet Tadpole from the Spring Creek Litter! 🌸 Hey there, future family! I'm Tadpole, the fluffiest member of the Spring Creek litter, and I'm here to tell you all about myself. First things first, I'm a male Border Collie mix with a hint of Aussie(so we are guessing) in my genes that is just under 6 weeks old. They say I won't grow too big, probably staying under or around 45 pounds. So, if you're looking for a pup who won't hog the whole couch or need a truck-sized car seat, I'm your guy! Let me share my story with you. I didn't start off in the lap of luxury—I was found along with my siblings and our amazing mom, Spring, at the bottom of a huge ditch. It was a tough start, but we had each other. Oh, and there's also my fun-loving sibling from another litter, Ducky, and our potential dad, Froggy. We're quite the family and we are ALL ready to find our furever! Curious about my day. Well, I start by bouncing around, ready for playtime as soon as I hear footsteps. I'm all about being in the mix, whether it's chowing down during feeding time or helping tidy up (or maybe making a mess while trying). I'm your trusty sidekick for any adventure in the puppy room! But after all that excitement, a nap is a must. I curl up into a fluffy ball and dream of more playtime and cuddles with my future forever family. So, if you're looking for a playful, fluffy, and adorable companion to join your adventures, look no further than me! First things first, I'm all about that active lifestyle! Who needs a quiet day when you can have a romp in the park, a game of tag, or maybe even a little puppy Olympics? I'm ready for it all, and I'll bring the energy and the laughs! Hiking? Oh, you betcha! Once these little legs grow a bit, I'll be scaling mountains and exploring forests like a true adventurer. Just imagine me with a tiny backpack and a big grin—ready to conquer the world! Fetch? Not yet, but I've got my eyes on that elusive ball. One day, I'll master the art of fetch and become a legendary retriever! Toys are my jam, especially squeaky ones! I'll squeak, tug, and zoom around with pure puppy joy. And let's not forget my love for chewing on anything and everything (sorry, siblings!). As for energy levels, I've got big dog energy packed into this fluffy frame. I may be the biggest in my litter, but I'm also the biggest goofball! Ready to bounce, play, and bring smiles wherever I go. When it comes to meeting new folks, I'm like a professional party host. Social butterfly? Nah, more like a social unicorn! I'll charm my way into your hearts with my floppy ears and wagging tail, no doubt about it. Other dogs? Bring 'em on! I met this cool doggo once, and I swear I thought I was the canine version of the Pied Piper. I strutted up like I owned the place, wagging my tail like a fluffy ball of friendship. I mean, who wouldn't want to be buds with me, right? Now, do I need another dog in my new home? Well, let's just say I'm like a party on four legs! If there's another pup to join in the fun, count me in for double trouble. But if it's just me and my humans, I'm all game for epic playtime and belly rubs! And cats? Oh boy, I met this mysterious feline once, and let's just say I was intrigued. But hey, I know when to bow down to the cat's superior ninja skills. For now, at least! Who knows, maybe one day I'll convince the cat to join my paw-some adventures! So, if you're looking for a social butterfly with a flair for making friends (furry or not), you should pick me! I'm still figuring out this whole "potty training" thing. Sometimes I get it right on the first try, and other times... well, let's just say there's a reason they call it a puppy puddle. But hey, every accident is just a step closer to becoming a pro pee-er! But fear not, dear humans! Despite my mishaps, I'm a quick learner and eager to please. With a bit of patience, treats, and maybe a few extra squeaky toys, I'll have those house manners polished in no time. Alright, let's talk serious business for a moment, folks! While I may be a fluffy bundle of joy and silliness, there's a reason why proper socialization and training are so important for me. First things first, socialization is like the magic potion that turns me into a well-rounded pup. It's not just about making friends (though that's a big part of it, and I'm great at that!). Socialization helps me understand the world around me, from different people and animals to new environments and experiences. Proper training, on the other paw, is like giving me the tools I need to navigate life like a pro. It's not just about sitting and staying (although I'm sure I will be a champ at those!). Training teaches me boundaries, good manners, and how to communicate effectively with my humans. 📍 Pickup Location: Broken Arrow, OK 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3
