We have fattened him up, got him neutered shots wormed and now he needs a home. He is older 5-7? The perfect age to be someone s companion. Loyal, housebroken and needs a warm place to lay his head. A 55 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. Oreo is a smart, loyal young guardian dog looking for her forever home. She wandered onto a farm as a puppy and chose to stay, showing just how resourceful and intelligent she is. She is an excellent protector against snakes, foxes, coyotes, and other wildlife, but needs a secure, sturdy fence as we believe she is half Great Pyrenees and a real wanderer. Oreo is currently heartworm positive but started her treatment nearly 3 months ago and is expected to make a complete recovery in about 3 more months with no lasting complications. She has never shown aggression toward people, including babies and young children. She gets along with our other guardian dog well, but she has bitten a very small dog once, so we cannot recommend a home with small dogs. Having always lived outdoors, Oreo will benefit from continued training. She would thrive with a loving family in a rural home that appreciates a devoted, protective companion.

She was born 3/21/26 into the rescue so she has had nothing but love and snuggles since birth.
