Story
Hi! I’m Odin, and if you know border collies, you already know what you’re getting into. My brain runs fast, my legs run faster, and I take my job of supervising the world very seriously. I’m a sweet and affectionate guy with my people and I love to play, learn, and be part of whatever adventure is happening. Training, games, sports, puzzles—if it makes me think and move, I’m all in. After a good day of doing important border collie business, I’m also pretty happy to lean into you for some well-earned cuddles.Because I’m such a true-to-form border collie, I need a home that understands my breed and is ready to give me the kind of physical and mental work that keeps dogs like me thriving. When I have a job and structure, I’m an amazing companion. When I don’t… well, I sometimes invent my own jobs, and not all of them are appreciated by the general public. My future person should be ready to help guide my enthusiasm with training, activities, and lots of things to keep my busy brain satisfied.I’d do best in an active home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs, but I’m not the kind of dog who should be left outside on my own—I want to be part of the action with my people. I can do well with other dogs and older, respectful kids, but cats are not my thing. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, hilarious working-type dog who wants a partner in life (and maybe a few jobs to manage), I’m ready to get started.

Story
Meet Jake — and buckle up. HiHIHELLO I’m Jake and I have IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO and by important things I mean RUNNING, JUMPING, KISSING YOUR FACE, SPINNING IN CIRCLES, and then doing it all again because why are we stopping?? Are we stopping?? WE ARE NOT STOPPING. I’m a young border collie/heeler mix which basically means my brain runs on espresso and my legs run on rocket fuel. If there’s space? I’ll zoom it. If there’s a toy? I’ll chase it. If there’s a human? I will absolutely launch myself at them with love. I specialize in full-body enthusiasm. Personal space? Never heard of her. I greet the world at level 100. You walk in? I’m airborne. You sit down? Excellent, you are now a jungle gym. I may use you as a rebound wall. I may ricochet off the couch. I will definitely smother you in kisses. It’s not chaos. It’s PASSION. I am smart-smart-smart. Like “figures things out in two seconds” smart. My brain is always buzzing, so I need stuff to do. Games? Yes. Training? YES. Jobs? PLEASE. Agility? Fetch marathons? Learning cool tricks so I can show off? Sign me UP. If you don’t give me something productive, I will invent my own activities and you might not love my creativity as much as I do. On leash I try very hard but sometimes my excitement gets ahead of my feet. There’s just so much to SEE and SMELL and DO. With consistency and practice, I can absolutely channel all this energy into something awesome. I want to work with you. I just also want to do it at top speed. I’m affectionate in the most enthusiastic way possible. I don’t just love you. I LOVE YOU!!! My tail wags my whole body. My whole body occasionally leaves the ground. I’m not shy about my feelings. What do I need? An active human (or two) who wakes up and says, “Let’s GO”, A home that appreciates a wild child with a big brain, Structure, exercise, training, adventure, and Someone who thinks a tired dog is a beautiful thing. I am not a “Netflix and chill” dog. I am a “Sunrise hike, mid-morning training session, afternoon fetch championship, evening cuddle collapse” dog. If you’re ready for a best friend who will turn your life into a fast-paced, joy-filled action movie — I’m your guy.

Story
Hi, I’m Ella! I’m a young adult with a gentle heart and a slightly shy spirit. I didn’t get much socialization when I was younger, so the world still feels a little big and confusing to me. But if you bring some tasty treats and give me a little time, I’ll start to trust you—and once I do, my true puppy self comes bursting out! When I’m comfortable, I’m all wiggles and bounces. I leap into your lap for love, dance around with excitement, and act like the happy, silly puppy I’ve always wanted to be. I just need someone patient to help me feel safe enough to shine. I’m looking for a home where someone is around often, because being alone still makes me nervous. I’d like to be the only dog, but I’ve shown I can be playful with cats. Mostly, I just need a human who has the time to help me learn about the world—someone who will train me, socialize me, and love me through every step of my growing up. If you’re gentle, understanding, and ready to help a shy girl blossom, I promise I’ll give you all the love and loyalty in my little puppy heart.
