Hi, I’m Ella! I’m a young adult with a gentle heart and a slightly shy spirit. I didn’t get much socialization when I was younger, so the world still feels a little big and confusing to me. But if you bring some tasty treats and give me a little time, I’ll start to trust you—and once I do, my true puppy self comes bursting out! When I’m comfortable, I’m all wiggles and bounces. I leap into your lap for love, dance around with excitement, and act like the happy, silly puppy I’ve always wanted to be. I just need someone patient to help me feel safe enough to shine. I’m looking for a home where someone is around often, because being alone still makes me nervous. I’d like to be the only dog, but I’ve shown I can be playful with cats. Mostly, I just need a human who has the time to help me learn about the world—someone who will train me, socialize me, and love me through every step of my growing up. If you’re gentle, understanding, and ready to help a shy girl blossom, I promise I’ll give you all the love and loyalty in my little puppy heart.

Hi. Um—hi! I’m Echo. I just want to say that I’m very happy to meet you, even if my feet are doing that fast-pace thing again. I can’t always help it. My brain goes zoom and my legs follow. I’m a little nervous in new places (the shelter has been… a lot), but please don’t mistake that for not being fun—because oh wow, am I FUN. I just need a minute. Or maybe a few minutes. Okay, sometimes more than a few.I’m a working/herding breed girl through and through, which means my heart is sweet but my energy is BIG. I used to have a large backyard and lots of room to move, and apartment life was… not my favorite chapter. I really need space, structure, and someone who understands dogs like me—dogs who need jobs, puzzles, training, and exercise to feel calm and happy. If you’re into agility, dog sports, or just doing cool stuff together every day? I will absolutely shine for you.Once I warm up, I’m all wiggles and enthusiasm and “let’s do it again!” energy. I love engaging with my person and using my brain. I will need time to settle into a new home, and patience while I learn that the world is safe again. Oh—and full disclosure—I’m not a fan of having my feet touched, so that’s something we’ll need to work on together, gently and with snacks.If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive, high-octane best friend who’s ready to learn, run, and grow with you (and maybe pace a little while doing it), I think we might be a really great team. I promise I’m worth the wait.Oma`s foundation very generously paid the adoption fee for Echo, so if you adopt this sweet girl you only have to pay her $30 administration fee!
