Story
Harper came to us in July from a neighbor that had rescued her from being homeless. She has made amazing progress since she’s been here but our small dog does not like her (he is part Chihuahua and not very nice) and they have had some conflicts. She is looking for her forever home. She is wicked smart, housebroken and uses the dog door. She can sit and is great on a leash. She has been great with our large dog, cats and young nephews. Unfortunately, our small dog is aggressive towards her and they have had some conflicts. I would not suggest she lives with a smaller, nervous dog. She has food guarding issues (but only with him, not our large dog or people, I can take food out of her mouth or move her bowl). Rehoming fee is negotiable for the right home. We will transport her anywhere within 300 miles of the Medford area, further to find her a great home. She will come with food, bed, toys and flea meds. She deserves a great home, we love her.

Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have done so. Your response serves as your preliminary application. Please provide the requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than 'I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him'. Meet Riley, an 8-year-old presumed Aussie/Border mix. Riley is such a lover, an easygoing lad, who enjoys car rides, leisurely walks, and just being with his person. He never really caught on to playing with toys; however, I had a breed very similar, and after 3 years- a light went on in his head- and voila- all of a sudden he loved playing fetch. Riley was well loved but spent his days as a gentle companion with his owner, puttering about. His owner has since passed, and Riley finds himself in need of a loving home. His ideal family will have a fenced yard and just enjoy being a 'You and Me in Mayberry.' He has good potty habits and manners Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. Please be reminded he is a velcro dog. He wants to be with his person 24 7. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding-Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.

Story
Red is a 4 or 5 year old male Border Collie or McNab. He has been neutered and is up to date on his rabies vaccines. He was a stray whose previous owners couldn’t take back because their yard is not securely fenced. He loves people, he’s very energetic and loves to play. He is also very loving and will sleep in your lap if you let him. He loves to play fetch and also enjoys watching tv—especially old westerns and Lassie. He usually gets along well with other dogs but sometimes his play gets too rough. He sometimes jumps on people so he needs a friend who will not be knocked over when he greets them. He needs a new home as soon as possible. He currently alternates between living in Applegate and Ashland, Oregon.

Red needs to find a new home immediately. Red showed up at my house as a stray a few years ago; he is a Border Collie or a McNab. His original owners weren't able to take him back because they didn't have a securely fenced yard and he kept getting out on the road. My house is more securely fenced, but Red could really use a bigger yard and a family who has more time to spend with him than I do. He likes children although he is a little shy with them at first. He loves to play fetch and watch tv. He spends most of his time outside but sleeps in a crate in the house at night. He rarely barks. Although he usually gets along well with other dogs, his play can be too rough. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog and there are no cats. He also needs a securely fenced yard. He is currently living in Ashland, Oregon.

This is Clover she is really sweet. She is 10 months old. I’m fostering her from a friend and am looking for her forever home. Would love her to go to someone who has a big yard, or a farm she has lots of energy. She loves to run, play in water/mud, and play with her squeaky toy. She is reactive when first meeting someone but does eventually warm up to people.
