Story
Penny is an energetic and playful dog. She will be 4 in November. She has gone through obedience training and behaves well on a leash, electronic collar, and prong collar. She loves to play fetch with a ball, frisbee, and play tug with tug toys. Because of her breed, she needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. She knows basic commands like sit, down, “wait” at the door, and come. She is crate trained and likes to decompress in her crate with a Kong filled with peanut butter. She eats in her crate or in the kitchen but she can get aggressive and growl, bark, if other animals are around when she eats. She can act possessive with toys and bones as well. She lived with 3 other dogs for about two years and got along very well with them. She gets along with almost every dog she meets, at first she reacts out of fear and will bark but she warms up and plays well. She needs to socialize with structure. She needs a home with owners who are home often and can exercise her daily.

Durk is a 1 year old 52 lb neutered male Border Collie mix! He came from a SC kill shelter and our rescue was asked to save him by taking him to our rescue because he is a friendly boy! He is a sweet dog friendly and people friendly dog friendly, but not cat friendly! He is also microchipped and heartworm negative! He deserves a loving home! We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs .
