Story
Hank is the sweetest boy, once he knows you, but nervous with new people. His reaction to new folks always is so surprising to us, for in his own home, he is so happy go lucky and goofy and even a bit submissive. He is about 8 month old, and very playful (not hyper) and eager to please. Crate trained and housebroken and uses a dog door like a champ. He weighs about 50 lbs at this time. We are not certain of the breeds, but this is what he looks and acts like, to us. Hank is good with everyone he meets (once he has time to get to know them) and loves other dogs. He would do best with another dog and a fenced yard. We can cat test. He is just a silly, wonderful puppy, in need of a forever home, but he is not really a young kids dog and can be fearful of some men, at first. He is such a handsome boy who will steal your heart for sure. Experience is very important, so he can socialize with strangers more. A must meet, for in the comfort of his own home, he is so silly and goofy and super-duper affectionate.  (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) PREGNANT DOG RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility, specializing in pregnant dogs, moms with newborns, and small or medium adult dogs (we take in pregnant dogs, we do not adopt out pregnant dogs).  We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions!  (We often have puppies and moms not listed on the site, for they might be too young at the moment to list, so please, contact us to be sure of our available pups!)  We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. PREGNANT DOG And ALL BREED RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER puppies are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health. Our Puppies are current on vaccines, wormed, and extremely well cared for from birth - most even know how to use a dog door by the time they leave us!  They are friendly and social and very affectionate!  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! PDR/LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home.  Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile.  We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm and Lyme tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $595 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  May 10, 2024, 10:17 am

Story
Bubba, an 8 year old- border collie, is a clever canine with an independent streak, who lives life on his own terms. His late owner loved him dearly but gave him too much leeway his whole life, allowing Bubba to rule the roost. As a result of this, when given instructions or commands, Bubba can be become agitated and resistant due to his distaste for being told what to do at times. Although stubborn at times, he truly is a good boy. His enthusiasm for walks is contagious! He loves it so much, he can't contain his excitement when he sees the leash. He takes delight in playing with his toys and being showered with love by humans. Despite making friends with other dogs at the shelter, Bubba should be the only dog in his forever home (he can't be placed in a home with cats).Join us on our mission to find an amazing family that will embrace Bubba just as he is. Let's spread some joy and change his world! Bubba is neutered, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. If interested in adopting Bubba, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form. (It can be located under the ‘adoptable dogs' section).

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Samuel, the 52-pound charmer with the energy of a Border Collie and the heart of a teddy bear! This one-year-old Border Collie/Lab (possibly?) mix is the perfect combination of sweet and spirited. He's a social butterfly with dogs and a soft treat-taker from your hand. Sam's talents include sitting and working on "OFF". His perfect day involves walks, yard playtime, and some quality time with squeaky toys. Sam is very attached to his people and always wants to be near them. He is crate-trained and housetrained. Samuel walks very well on a leash - does not pull and rides well in the car. He is as loyal as they come. Sam's ideal home? One with a patient person who can match his energy, perhaps another furry friend, and a daily routine. If you're ready for a companion who'll keep up with you on all your adventures, Sam's your guy! Apply now, and let the adventures begin!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 13, 2024, 3:37 pm
