Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Lilo the Wunderpup! Wanted: a home of my own Who am I: a very smart pup. Probably border collie & Boston terrier (but without the usual Boston terrier gas!) How do I look: sleek short black fur with a with blaze & some other white markings, a bobbed tail (natural, of course), & a unique L front toe Characteristics: very friendly, high energy, athletic plus: jumps, climbs -made for agility! Dog friendly. Supervise with cats. Great with humans of all ages & sizes. Quirks: Food aggressive with other dogs, so feed in a crate. Will counter surf or perform parkour feats to scale counters to obtain food, so best to crate her during meal prep. NEVER aggressive towards people. Favorite toys: any & all. Also will force you to immediately put up your laundry, since I love to “grab & go”, creating my own toys. Shoes, if not put up, are fair game 🤷🏻‍♀️ Do you have what it takes to be my “furever” people? I have been waiting so long… Attributes: Leash trained 75% housebroken, but stubborn about the last bit Supervise with cats VERY athletic Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Ringo is an enigma! This sweet girl was an owner surrender to due a horrific case of ringworm. She was literally covered in lesions. Despite being in quarantine for a month, she retained her happy go lucky attitude and was sweet and receptive to her daily treatments. She even learned a few tricks during this time, and we found that she is exceptionally food motivated. We are not sure of Ringo's breed(s) and are merely guessing, but I do believe she does have some Border Collie in her. She is small and I do not believe she will get over 40 lbs fully grown. She is housebroke and crate trained and is very calm in the home. Outside, she can run all day. Ringo has had a couple of meets with perspective adopters, and she acts like a goof and nothing like her self. We are perplexed at this behavior, and saddened for her. She is a very affectionate puppy, she likes to cuddle and get her tummy rubs in daily. She gets along well with each new dog that comes into our rescue and is playing with them as soon as they let her. At each greet with an adopter, however, she barks at the person and their pet the entire time. I hope there is someone out there that will give this sweet girl a chance. I am sure that once she settles in her new home, she will be just as sweet, calm, and affectionate she is with us. We would definitely consider a foster to adopt with Ringo.

Story
A Rose by any other name would be just a flower and a dog with any other name wouldn't be me, so naturally these humans named me ROSE! I am a gorgeous Collie mix with gorgeous eyes just as bright as I am. :) I am such a silly and happy girl. Look at me making faces and having lots of fun with my foster sister! I love playing, going for car rides, and cuddling. I even get daily tooth brushing and I let foster mom trim my nails. I am even experienced at boarding and play care. I got to camp out at my dog-sitter's for a while and it was a blast! I met 20+ dogs while I was there. Big and small; I love them all! But TOYS! Those things are the best! I love carrying toys around with me everywhere! I got to meet a kitty friend too, even though she swatted me, we were on good terms after that. We even share the bed together every night. By the way, if you or your friends have kids, I like them, too. They make great play pals! Apply now to meet me today!
