Meet Chavi the tripod! Chavi is a 2 year old border collie/lab mix. She was a street rescue that had a broken front leg, heartworms AND a litter of 8 newborn puppies. Chavi was very shy when she first arrived. It took weeks for her to trust anyone. During this time Chavi was never aggressive, just very scared. But, this resilient and brave girl allowed us to help her through weaning her puppies and help her heal from her front leg amputation. Chavi is now heartworm NEGATIVE, she loves having other dog friends, and she is cat friendly. Chavi would need an experienced adopter or an adopter that understands trust must be earned. Her whole life was running from bad people, now that she is comfortable, every so often she will come up for a head pat, but always on her terms. Chavi is a house-cat of a dog! Chavi is leash trained and potty trained. She would do best in a calm home with another pet! Reach out to learn more.

Denali, is a 8 year old very loving sweet girl. I am not sure on what her second breed is other than border collie. I got her when she was a puppy. Unfortunately, I can not take her with me and my parents can no longer take care of her. Denali was kennel trained, & potty trained with me. She was also an indoor dog, but currently out doors now. She does get skin allergies when the season comes, but can be controlled. She also has a mass on her right side that has been there for years but vet just suggests to leave it as it has not grown over the years and does not affect her. I would love for someone with a big heart and patience to take her for the couple of years she has left and just love and take well care of her, because she truly is the sweetest girl.

Boomer is 3 years of age! I want Boomer to go to a very loving family and who can give him the care that he needs! I believe he has some sort of special needs because he needs more care and attention than I can give him! I also believe that he is allergic to chicken! Boomer is very loving, cuddly and always wants to make a new friend with dogs! He is kinda scared of human at first but he doesn’t bite or come near you and once he opens up to you, he will continually give you love!

**Hoping we can find him a new home soon. I’ve sadly had to reach out to ACS. & he’ll he surrendered to them soon. Vito is a best friend. He’s such a good boy. He’s so smart. & wildly kind to others. Cats dogs kids. He’s perfect. I’m moving out of town, going through a recent divorce & I just can’t be present for him like I should be. I wish I could keep him. It hurts me to let him go but he definitely needs someone who has the time to play with him.

Meet Panda. Panda's owner passed away in February and there were no family contacts that could take her. Panda is in need of a new home and person/family to love her and be loved by her. Panda is an absolutely wonderful dog, she is not a crazy, high energy gal at 7 years old. She is house trained and crate trained. Panda does not like other dogs and cats and needs to be the only pet but she loves people very much. She was depressed when her mom passed, and spent time decompressing and I believe is ready to find her new home. Panda is a soft, healthy gal that is spayed, heartworm negative, and current on her shots. Panda is also microchipped and that chip registration can be transferred to a new owner. Panda is a great walking companion and could comfortably stay with someone in an apartment or house. Panda can go out into a fenced yard, but if this is your situation make sure that someone is available to go out with her or that it is a 6ft fence.

Free blue heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). I caught this intact, male stray three weeks ago in my neighborhood (rural area) after it had been seen wandering the neighborhood for several days. He is not microchipped and I believe he was likely dumped. He appears to be less than one year old. He was unfriendly at first but now plays and freely lets me handle him. He seems to be a very intelligent dog and handles a leash well and can read my instructions. He has been well-behaved: he doesn't bark much, he doesn't dig holes, he hasn't tried to get at our pet rabbits by digging, pushing or climbing on their cage, and he hasn't been overly excited at our chickens, who come in close contact but are on the other side of a wire fence. I haven't had him in the house so I don't know if he is house-broken. None of the local rescues or shelters I've contacted will take him, so I'm trying to find him a good home.
