NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER OR FOSTER NEEDED! NOTE: This pet is currently in Texas and will transport north once an adopter or foster is secured. Navy is now ready to be adopted. She is the pup that was dumped like trash on a back road in East Texas. Her foster family has done an awesome job nursing her back to health. Navy's foster family dotes on her all of the time. She is house/leash/crate trained. We believe Navy to be Border Collie mix and currently weighs about 35 lbs. and is about 6 mos old. Navy has several canine siblings in her foster home she likes to play with as well as two human siblings. If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $500.00 for adults and $600.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! ##2865758##

Story
🚨 URGENT: LOVING HOME NEEDED BY NOVEMBER 6th FOR SCRIBBY 🚨 Due to an unexpected financial hardship, we are forced to move out of our home and into a small apartment that strictly does not allow pets. We have until Friday, November 6th to find a safe, loving family for our sweet boy, Scribby. Scribby is a stunning 6-year-old Husky mix with a thick, beautiful rust-colored coat. He is neutered, fully house-trained, and kennel-trained. Excellent with Other Dogs: He was raised alongside three other dogs—a female Pit Bull and a mother/son pair of Chihuahuas. He is gentle, sweet, and has a fantastic, patient personality with children. A total snuggle bug who loves to be close to his people, but also enjoys playing in the yard and lying in the sun. When I had cancer followed by chemo in 2021, he rarely left my side for the first few weeks. It really helped my recovery time. His spirit is pure and loving. He would be a blessing in any home with people who will love him as much as he loves you

Story
Tootsie and her 10 puppies were brought to the local pound by her owners to be surrendered. When they found out how much it would cost, they were dumped . Tootsie by the highway. Puppies down the road near railroad tracks. Someone took her in for the weekend, then on a Monday she was taken to the pound. The puppies were found, (1 dead), and taken to the persons house. He gave away 2. 2 ran off, never to be seen again. So Monday 5 puppies were taken to the pound. They were reunited and within the hour of being euthanized, they were rescued with a foster. Tootsie didn't last at the foster because she doesn't like being in a kennel and broke out of all 3 she was in. She also velcroed herself to the foster. Ultimately, she had to leave urgently and we had no choice but to put her in boarding. It's draining our funds. However, while in boarding, since she is able to roam freely, and we have discovered what an absolute precious girl she is. She's quiet, non-reactive to other animals and people. She just wants to liveca peaceful life and be loved. She loves to go outside for walks. She will do her business outside on those walks. She's spayed and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. We've tried desperately to find her another foster, with no luck. She can be adopted in Texas but has to wait until she heartworm negative before leaving the state. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please message me. P.S. Her puppies went on transport to Oregon to all be adopted by loving families. ❤️🐾❤️

Story
Meet Jill 🖤 Jill is a beautiful 1.5-year-old terrier/Border Collie mix weighing about 47 lbs. She was found as a stray in Kilgore with her brother, Jack, and she’s ready to find a family of her own! Jill is affectionate, athletic, playful, and incredibly smart. She loves attention, enjoys toys and car rides, and is happiest being close to her people. She can be a little timid at first, but once she warms up, her sweet and snuggly personality shines through. ✔️ Good with all dogs ✔️ Loves people ✔️ Crate & leash trained ✔️ Smart and eager to learn ✔️ Athletic, playful & affectionate ✔️ Food motivated ✔️ Loves toys and adventures Jill is high energy and would love an active home where she can run, play, and be part of the fun. She’s just getting started with house training and should learn quickly with consistency and patience. Like her brother, Jill is also an escape artist, so she’ll need a secure fence and careful supervision outdoors. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion with a sweet heart and adventurous spirit, Jill might be your girl. 🐾

Story
We adopted Charlie from a foster when she was about 5 years old. She had been heart worm positive, but underwent treatment and is now negative. She is fantastic with our 6 and 3 year old, but doesn’t do well with our other dog and I’m scared the other dog is going to hurt Charlie by jumping on her. We have also had issues with keeping Charlie in the fence. We tried everything we know to do to keep her from digging out, but all of our attempts have failed.
