FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Enzo! Enzo is a 5-year-old, 30 lb Border Collie/McNab mix who came to us from an overcrowded CA shelter. He’s incredibly sweet, loving, and as smart as they come! Enzo has been shining in foster care! He is crate trained, house trained, and with some patience and guidance from his wonderful fosters ~ he has learned to love cats! He’s also great with other dogs and loves his people. Enzo is active, playful, and still full of that classic herding dog spunk. Fetch is one of his all-time favorite activities. He knows several commands: sit, down, shake, roll over, and spin and is eager to keep learning! This boy doesn’t just want physical exercise; he needs mental work. Puzzle toys, training sessions, trick work, nose games — he thrives when you give his brain something to do. Because of this, we are specifically looking for an adopter with herding breed experience who understands what dogs like Enzo need to feel fulfilled. He’ll do best in a home prepared to keep his mind and body busy, give him structure, and help channel his intelligence in a positive way. Enzo would love a home with a yard and an active routine — hikes, adventures, outings, and plenty of enrichment. Once his needs are met, he is affectionate, loyal, and a wonderful companion who bonds deeply with his people. If you’re searching for a brilliant, devoted, fun adventure buddy — and you understand herding breeds — Enzo is ready to be your guy! Enzo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to Laurel! She is a ~1 year-old, 28lb, Border Collie mix who is ready to find her perfect family in the PNW. Laurel came to us from a high kill shelter in CA as a stray. She can be fearful in new situations and will thrive in a home that can provide consistency and help her build confidence and trust. Once she knows you she is very affectionate and loving! Laurel feels much more confident with other dogs around, and would do best in a forever home that has a dog companion for her. She is not tested with cats, and due to her fearfulness at this time, we are looking for a home without children. Laurel would love a home with a fenced yard for her to run and play! She would not do well in a busy city environment at this time. Laurel is spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Sadie is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Sadie is 2 1/2 years old (December 1) and is possibly a Border Collie/Lab mix. -Come into the local shelter in Summer 2023 as a small puppy. Transferred to our rescue on June 7th -Just went through heartworm treatment and tested negative as of December 9th! -Used to be shy and timid....now she is well socialized and loves to get all of your attention and she's not afraid to ask for it! -Energetic breed who would love a nice yard to run in and a family to love on. -35-40 pounds. -Gets along with other dogs. Would do best in a home with another dog to play with. Does like to be the "alpha" with some females (never aggressive). Gets along great with males -She can walk on a leash, but it does need some work. -If home has kids, must be 10+ -Video of Sadie from December 1: https://youtube.com/shorts/idXhtmRwhwg Sadie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She had a negative heartworm test on December 9th. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700 total, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. She is very sweet, good natured and playful and hasn't barked much. She has been sleeping by my bed and is quiet through the night. I am such a good girl ;) Even my rescuers tell me that! I am not sure why I was left alone in a neighborhood, by myself, all alone ?? I deserved so much better, and I am here to say, "SIEZE THE DAY!!!" Because you just don't know if it is your BEST day ever, UNTIL you SIEZE it and DON'T LET GO!!! And seriously, here I am!! Living in a rescue with friends and love and food and safety :D I am now ready for the best family! You would get the best companion, EVER!! I am loyal, I am loving and I am smart AND I can wear a cute pair of pajamas too!
