Animal Information: Meet Cobbler! He and his 3 siblings are 12 weeks old Border Collie mixes (best guess) and will be joining us from California along with their mom Brownie on 06/11/2026. Foster Profile: Cobbler is a 3-month-old Border Collie mix with a gentle heart. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his sweet nature to shine through. He's looking for a patient family who can help him build confidence and continue discovering that the world isn't such a scary place. When Cobbler feels nervous, he'll often seek comfort by tucking himself between your legs or finding a cozy corner where he feels safe. With a little encouragement, he warms up and shows just how lovable he is. For such a young puppy, Cobbler is incredibly smart and learns quickly. He’s already doing well on leash and happily walks by your side. He has a great recall for his age and enjoys playing chase with respectful children. As a typical growing pup, he’s currently teething and picks up anything he finds. Cobbler loves spending time outdoors, especially relaxing in a shady spot on warm days. He's currently working on house training and learning basic commands. He's making great progress and is eager to keep learning! Cobbler would thrive with someone who understands that confidence grows with patience and positive experiences. Muchacho is a young (1.5-2 YO approx.) mixed medium boy (last weighed 44 lbs, now 45-55 lbs.), with a brindle coat and the sweetest brown eyes. He is house-trained (up to 6 hours free-bird, up to 8 in crate), potty-trained, knows Sit, Paw (Shakes Hand), is working on Wait (Stay) and Gentle (touch nose, not grab with teeth). He is VERY food-motivated, a lapdog, a sous chef. Muchacho loves the girls, the gays and the theys, and warms up to the he/hims slowly. He loves to be by your side at all times, separation makes him anxious. He is a big nippy thief, of socks and shoes and kitchen towels and pillows, even if they are too big to carry. He loves playing with balls, tug of war, and destroying even the toughest toys. He is not friendly to other dogs, should be an only pet until he is socialized better. He is a handsome boy who needs a companion with more time, energy, and dedication to his training. My ex surrendered Chacho to me to rehome to a more fitting household after he left WA.

Meet sweet 9 month old Fae! Fae was rescued at a young age from a home that did not allow dogs inside and was tied up on the front porch with no heat source in the winter. She has now been spoiled, loved and socialized with other dogs and cats, taken on many trail hikes and to public events. She has completed Petco‘s beginner and advanced good behavior courses, is fully potty trained and does well on a leash. She is fully vaccinated and micro chipped but not yet spayed. She is very affectionate and playful with plenty of puppy energy and will play fetch for hours if you let her! She loves to go to the dog park or any park where she can run off leash and loves to ride in the car. Fae does tend to be a needy girl in that she wants to be with her person all the time. She does have some separation anxiety and will seek things to destroy if not monitored closely! She is not kennel trained and I don’t believe she would do well in a kennel all day as she really wants to be active and play.

But then they had luck when they found me stuck during the big flood over water we got, and brought me to rescue. As it turns out, I wasn't always a stray. I had a family once. After my boy passed away, his mom couldn't care for me anymore, and I was left to fend for myself. It was a confusing time, but I'm ready to leave the past behind and find a family to love again. These days, I'm happiest living the easy life. I'm an older gal, and I've definitely earned my naps! Give me a comfy bed, a sunny spot on the floor, and I'm one happy girl. I also enjoy taking walks and am told I have wonderful leash manners. I'm quiet, calm, gentle, and easy to be around. I get along well with other dogs and would fit right into a peaceful home. I also love to play fetch! I'm already spayed, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested, and up to date on my ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will happily keep you company through lazy afternoons, neighborhood strolls, and all of life's little moments, I think we might be the perfect match. We are Herman’s second family. His first owner was elderly and became ill, so could no longer care for him. We have had him for about three years but my husband was recently diagnosed with AML and will need a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately we will need to rehome Herman for my husband’s health and safety. He is an extremely intelligent and loving dog. He is a barker. On walks, he will bark at other dogs but we have found that crossing the street, getting him to sit and wait while talking to and petting his head helps to calm him down. Then he continues his walk just fine. We have two teenagers and one other dog (a lab) in the house that he does really well with. He also warms up to new people in the home quickly. To my knowledge he has not been around young children or cats, so not sure how he would do. He does not play with toys but loves chewing on his bones. He is crate trained, but just hasn’t used one in a couple of years.
