FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hudson! Hudson is a 1-year-old, 53 lb Border Collie/Lab/Pyrenees mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This big, dopey boy is packed with personality, brains, and puppy energy! Hudson is a total goofball ~ sweet, friendly, and always ready for the next adventure. He does great with other dogs and loves people, greeting the world with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He’s eager to learn, eager to please, and incredibly smart ~ the kind of dog who could go a long way with consistent training and structure. This athletic guy will need a very active home. Hiking, backpacking, long walks, outdoor exploring ~ if you love the outdoors, Hudson will happily keep up. He’s strong, energetic, and built for adventure, with those huge paws hinting he may still have a little growing to do. Because he’s agile and capable, a securely fenced yard with tall fencing is important if he has yard access. He’ll thrive with engaged owners who provide both physical exercise and mental enrichment. With the right active lifestyle and continued training, Hudson is going to make an incredible companion ~ loyal, fun, and always ready to hit the trail! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ninja! Ninja is a 1-year-old, 76 lb Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. This magnificent, fluffy boy is as striking as he is sweet ~ and yes, he’s often walking around with his tongue sticking out, adding to his goofy charm! Ninja is playful, bouncy, and full of big-dog energy. He’s treat-motivated and eager to engage, but he is still very much a large, adolescent pup who needs continued work on basic obedience and manners. He can be jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he will need a confident, experienced handler who understands large breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and training. Because of his size, strength, and activity level, Ninja will do best with someone who has large-breed experience and can comfortably handle a strong dog. He would thrive in a home with a large, securely fenced yard — ideally in a more rural setting outside the city, as that’s what he’s used to. He would love to go hiking, explore, and have space to roam and stretch those long legs. That said, he also has a chill side and enjoys hanging out with his people once he’s had proper exercise. Ninja can be dog selective and does show some reactivity, so continued socialization work will be important. He would do best either as an only dog or in a home with a female dog of similar size. He would do best in a home without cats. Underneath all that size and fluff is a total sweetheart and a bit of a lovable dope ~ affectionate, silly, and deeply loyal. He’s a lot of dog, but for the right home, he’s going to be an absolutely incredible companion. If you’re looking for a stunning, big-hearted adventure partner and have the experience to help guide him, Ninja may be your perfect match! Ninja is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Milo is an energetic and affectionate Border Collie mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. True to his breed, he’s active, alert, and always ready for the next adventure. He absolutely loves walks and playtime, and he would thrive with someone who enjoys being outdoors and keeping him mentally and physically engaged. He already knows how to sit and will willingly go into his kennel when asked. He tolerates baths well and handles routine care without much fuss. One thing to know about him is that he is very food-motivated — in fact, food is his favorite thing in the world. He will spend a good part of his day sniffing, searching, and trying to find snacks wherever he can. Because of this, he’ll need a home that can securely store food, keep counters clear, and help him continue learning boundaries around meals and treats. With consistency and training, his strong food drive can actually be a wonderful tool for teaching him new skills.

Hi… I’m Lulu. Not long ago, I was just another name on a list — a list that meant my story might end before it ever really began. I hadn’t felt what a home was like yet, and I hadn’t learned what it meant to truly belong to someone. But I was given a second chance, and now I’m standing at the door of a brand-new life… maybe with you. I’m a bright, happy girl with lots of energy and an even bigger curiosity about the world. I love to move, to learn, and to play — every day feels exciting to me. I make dog friends quickly and genuinely enjoy playing with them, and I tend to warm up to people pretty fast too. If you meet me, I’ll probably come say hello with a wagging tail and sparkling eyes. Since I’m a Border Collie mix, I’m a smart cookie. I pay close attention to your voice, your expressions, and your energy, always trying to understand what you’re asking of me. I’m still just 10 months old though — basically a big puppy! Sometimes my energy bubbles over and I might get a little silly, but I’m learning house rules and how to become the best companion I can be. And I promise you — I’m ready to learn. I’ve never truly had a home of my own. I don’t yet know what it feels like to curl up in “my” spot, to go on daily walks with “my” person, or to fall asleep each night knowing I am completely safe and loved. But if you choose me, I’ll learn all of that with you. I’ll learn that this is my home, that I am loved, and that I finally belong. If you’re a family who enjoys an active life and wants to spend time training, playing, and growing together… if you’re patient and excited to watch a young dog blossom into her best self… I will be your most loyal friend. I was once a dog waiting for my life to end. Now, I’m a dog waiting for my forever family. Could that be you? 🐾
