Story
Clementine (7/10/24) has recently arrived on a transport with two other dogs from the sunny island of St Thomas USVI. Clementine was one of many owned dogs belonging to an older woman who felt she could not provide the proper care. Three of her dogs came to us in the spring (Lucas, Cherry and Shiloh). Clementine is a beautiful medium size little lady, weighing around 40 pounds.Stevie’s a border collie mix with one brown eye and one blue eye. She is vaccinated, spayed, 4DX tested and microchipped. She was one of 12 dogs living in the home so she was very comfortable playing with the other dogs, but slow introductions to new dogs is always recommended. She is excellent with children, but likes to jump and nip (a herding instinct with her breed) and we are working on corrections. She is a little hesitant with men, living on the island with an older woman. She seems non reactive to cats. Zoomies in the yard is one of her favorite pastimes! I am such a good girl ;) Even my rescuers tell me that! I am not sure why I was left alone in a neighborhood, by myself, all alone ?? I deserved so much better, and I am here to say, "SIEZE THE DAY!!!" Because you just don't know if it is your BEST day ever, UNTIL you SIEZE it and DON'T LET GO!!! And seriously, here I am!! Living in a rescue with friends and love and food and safety :D I am now ready for the best family! You would get the best companion, EVER!! I am loyal, I am loving and I am smart AND I can wear a cute pair of pajamas too! So hurry up and adopt me, so that the rescue peeps can find another dog to rescue after I leave :D Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Oreo Cookies are da BEST cookies ever! And i are one of them :D So you now know all about me ;) Except the creamy center, which may explain why i am in a rescue looking for a furever home.. It isn't my fault ;( I mean, picture this..... there i was, minding my own business... and my mom and dad sit me down to tell me that they are getting a divorce :( And my mom, brother and I will be homeless soon :( :( what do you do??? I was lucky enough to find a rescue that was able to help me be safe and loved. (my mom and brother found a safe place too) So here i am at the rescue, just waiting to be discovered by my real forever family and I have some things to tell you about me.... I am cute, a little chunky and a little silly at times. But i am SERIOUSLY looking for that home. So if you like a chonky diva, I am yours!!!
