Greetings, my name is Garth! I'm a 3-year-old male border collie mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Sweetheart, Smart, Playful Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a loving guy who greets the world with a smile! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me too long to warm up to them. I'm super playful and love toys of all kinds, though I seem to favor balls. With that being said I am a hard chewer so I will need some strong toys! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: I have been good at keeping my kennel clean, although it may take me some time to adjust to a new schedule. I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any dogs in my potential home before adoption. I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Playing with toys!!!! I love cuddling my humans and getting affection from them as well. Things I need work on are: I could use a little more work with my basic commands and leash walking. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Garth was the best boy today. He is so friendly and nice, super calm and does not bark. He also LOVED his pup cup! he loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses, he is amazing! We are Cajun and Grit! We came from a local home of too many animals in general. We were kept in the barn or kennel our whole life thus far. We have now come to the shelter and are blossoming! Grit is more brave than I, but I have come a long ways! We both love to go for walks. A few meetings may need to happen as new things are a bit frightening. We would love an active person or family!

My name is Rachel. I was adopted as a puppy, but never socialized the best. I came back to the shelter and have been working hard on meeting new people. I do have the 'stranger danger' bark when in my kennel or behind a gate, but do very well without a barrier present. I love to go for 5-6 miles walks and ride superbly in the car. I would love an active person or family! I may take a few meetings to get comfortable with you, but then you will have the best buddy ever!
