He can still get excited and pull hard if he spots squirrels, rabbits, or other wildlife, as he has a high prey drive. A back-clip harness is used when he's tethered outside.Joey is playful and loves a game of fetch, though he can be a little mouthy during play and may try to grab the toy before it's thrown. His foster family has been working on this. He has a strong prey drive toward small animals, but despite not being formally cat-tested, he ignores the neighbor's outdoor cat when they cross paths. Joey loves spending time in a fenced yard but is a digger and a bit of an escape artist, so the fence should be secure and "Joey-proof."He forms strong bonds with everyone in the household and would do well in either a large or a small family.
