PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Valentine 💘🐾 And yes — I really am all love, song, and butterflies. I’m a 6-year-old terrier mix, and even though I came from a neglect situation and have a few health challenges, you would never know it by my attitude. I strut around with my tail wagging like I’ve got my own little theme music playing — la-di-da! I’m always smiling, always happy, and always right by your side. I’m what they call a “Velcro dog.” If you sit down, I’m there. If you walk to another room, I’m your tiny shadow. I adore belly rubs, cuddles, soft beds, and naps close to my person. Loving is my full-time job, and I take it very seriously. I’m potty trained, leash trained, and house trained — a total gentleman in the home. I know some commands like sit, down, and stay. I’m friendly with big dogs, small dogs, and older kids (10+). I’m playful but also laid back. I don’t need wild adventures — I just need *you*. Now for full transparency, because I deserve a family who understands me: I’m heartworm positive and have spondylosis in my lower spine. It gives me the cutest little booty wiggle when I walk! I’m not in pain, but I do need a home that understands I have some physical limits and may require ongoing care. I also have a little separation anxiety, so I need someone who is home most of the time. Being alone just isn’t my favorite thing — I love my people too much. One tiny “vice”? I’m very food motivated. If you leave snacks on the coffee table, I may help myself. I even tried breaking into the pantry once… I regret nothing. Keeping food out of reach solves that problem! My ideal home: 🏡 A fenced backyard 👩‍❤️‍👨 A small household (1–3 people) 💛 Someone home most of the time 🛏️ Plenty of soft beds and belly rubs Despite everything I’ve been through, I wake up every day grateful and joyful. I don’t carry the past with me — I just carry love. If you’re looking for the happiest little companion who will never leave your side and will adore you with his whole heart, I’m your Valentine. 💕 Adoption FEE: $350 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m **Moe** 🐾 I’m a 10-year-old Terrier, and yes — I’m blind. But you might not even notice! I’ve gotten pretty good at learning my surroundings, and once I know the “lay of the land,” I move around with confidence. My foster says I surprise everyone with how quickly I figure things out. I’m a sweet, loving, laid-back little guy who just wants to be near my human. That’s really my favorite thing — companionship. I enjoy gentle play, I get along with big and small dogs, and I’m friendly with kids too. I’m submissive, kind, and have a calm confidence about me. I may be a senior, but I still have a playful spark! I’m potty trained, but since I’m a blind senior, I do best when I’m let outside regularly on a schedule. Belly bands can also help if needed. I just need someone patient and understanding — I promise I’m worth it. My dream home would be calm and cozy. A small family (1–3 people) would be perfect, especially if someone is home most of the time — maybe you work from home or you’re retired? I’d really love that. I’d also enjoy having a small, gentle dog sibling to keep me company. A fenced backyard would make things easier for me to safely explore and do my business. I may not see the world with my eyes, but I feel it with my heart. And I have so much love left to give. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who just wants to be by your side, I’m your guy. 💛 Adoption FEE: $150 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines.
