Hi I'm Kane! My mama Luna is a small terrier and gave birth to me and my 4 littermates -- we were surrendered to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue as an unwanted litter. Mama was spayed and returned to owner and we've spent several weeks getting all of the medical and general care we needed to be ready for our forever homes. We are happy little pups estimated at 9 weeks old as of mid-April. Not sure of our exact mix, but we appear to be small terrier (like mama - possibly Border or Cairn) mixed with chi. Whatever our mix, we are absolutely adorable, playful little nuggets and we are expected to stay pretty small (maybe 15 lbs - best guess can not be guaranteed). My $650 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and neuter to be done at one of my rescue's Fort Myers vets when I'm 6 months old.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under "adopt" at your earliest convenience.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sparky and his brother, Oreo, were surrendered to PRBJ when their owner's living situation changed and he was unable to care for them. Sparky likes to go outside and play and is good with older kids. He has never been with kids under the age of 8, so we are not sure how he would do with younger kids.  He is playful and is bonded to Oreo. Both dogs MUST be adopted together.  Although the owner said they were potty trained, we have found daily accidents in their crate. So, new owners will need to be diligent and work with both dogs on their potty training.  Their owner stated that they like other dogs, but here at the center, we are not finding them to be good with other dogs.
