Story
We adopted our sweet Oso from a shelter in 2017 when he was just a puppy. We were told he is a Border Terrier mix, though his full breed background is unknown. Oso is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys cuddling on the couch, relaxing around the house, and playing in the yard. While Oso has never bitten anyone, he is reactive toward other dogs and will bark when he sees them. We have a two year old toddler, but he is nervous around her. With a second baby on the way, we feel we can no longer provide the level of supervision and management needed to ensure everyone remains comfortable and safe. We are looking for a loving home where Oso can thrive. He would do best in a household without children or other pets, with an owner who can give him the attention, structure, and companionship he deserves. This is a difficult decision, and our priority is finding the right home for this wonderful dog.

Story
Rupert is one handsome little fellow with a gentle heart and so much potential. While he may be a bit unsure in new situations, its easy to see the sweet dog waiting to blossom with the right person by his side.

Once Rupert feels comfortable, he enjoys gentle pets, cozy snuggles, and quiet companionship. He seems to be a bit under-socialized and is still learning that the world isnt such a scary place, but every day brings new opportunities for him to build confidence and trust.

Rupert would thrive in a patient, loving home that will give him the time and encouragement he needs to come out of his shell. The family who gives him that chance will be rewarded with the joy of watching him grow into the confident, happy dog hes meant to be.

If you have a kind heart, a calm environment, and the patience to let a shy dog shine, Rupert may be the perfect match for you.
