During a recent outing, she quickly figured out leash manners and began walking politely on a loose leash, even checking in with her handler along the way. She is moderate- to high-energy and enjoys playtime, especially games of tug and running around the backyard. Shes also a big fan of chicken nuggets and rides well in the car.<br/><br/>Twiggy has done wonderfully in public settings, showing no reactivity to other dogs and impressing everyone during a visit to Home Depot. She charmed employees, accepted pets and belly rubs, and showed just how sweet and social she can be.<br/><br/>With continued socialization and a family willing to invest in her training and confidence, Twiggy has all the makings of an incredible companion. Shes smart, capable, and ready to blossom in a home that will help her become the amazing dog shes meant to be.

We adopted our sweet Oso from a shelter in 2017 when he was just a puppy. We were told he is a Border Terrier mix, though his full breed background is unknown. Oso is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys cuddling on the couch, relaxing around the house, and playing in the yard. While Oso has never bitten anyone, he is reactive toward other dogs and will bark when he sees them. We have a two year old toddler, but he is nervous around her. With a second baby on the way, we feel we can no longer provide the level of supervision and management needed to ensure everyone remains comfortable and safe. We are looking for a loving home where Oso can thrive. He would do best in a household without children or other pets, with an owner who can give him the attention, structure, and companionship he deserves. This is a difficult decision, and our priority is finding the right home for this wonderful dog.
