Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Alexis I’m a sweet little Border Terrier mix who somehow found myself wandering through a neighborhood all alone, looking a bit lost and hoping someone would help me. Thankfully, kind people brought me to safety, and now I’m ready to find a forever home where I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. I was born around 5/6/2025 and weigh about 20 pounds — just the perfect size to tag along wherever you go. I absolutely adore people and always want to be close to my humans. If you’re sitting down, there’s a good chance I’ll want to sit nearby too. I’m a very loving girl with a gentle personality. I can be a little jumpy at times, so older kids would probably be best for me. I also seem to be pretty quiet overall and don’t spend my time barking in my kennel. I’m mostly potty trained, though like any dog, I may need a little patience and consistency while adjusting to a new home and routine. One important thing to know about me: I am a fence climber, so I will need a secure, properly fenced backyard to keep me safe. I’m curious and adventurous. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto — all ready for my next chapter. Adoption fee: $400 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Alexis is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. Please note that transport is not available to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 23, 2026, 4:34 pm

Story
*fostered in Bellingham, WA* Huckle is a sweet little 2 yr old terrier mix looking for his new home now that he has made it to the PNW! He is a very special boy, once he trusts that you are his person, he is all love! Huck is goofy, loves curling up with his person and following you around, and being your tiny best friend. He’s potty trained, crate trained, great in the car, good on leash and enjoys short outdoor adventures—sunny strolls, a little beach exploration, or simply sniffing around the yard. He loves to zoom around in the tall grass and bounce to his hearts content. His ideal home would be a single person who he can have all to himself. He would love a doggy companion and a yard to run in. He is currently being fostered with another dog and cat and does very well with both. This little frolicker isn’t suited for a busy household with small kiddos, but once he is outdoors he comes alive with joy! He loves walks, exploring, and does great in the car. He really is the perfect dog for the right person, he is calm, affectionate, easy to life with, low energy indoors, and happy to snooze on your lap while you work. If you’re looking for a loyal, ride-or-die sidekick who will bring endless love, snuggles, and gentle companionship, Huckle is your boy. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs' adoption ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Story
Meet Willa Jean! 🐾 Willa Jean is a shy but sweet scruffy girl with a heart that blooms once she feels safe. Though reserved at first, Willa forms deep bonds with her special person and finds comfort in quiet companionship. She currently lives with a foster family that includes older kids and other dogs, and she enjoys the calm, steady presence of her foster dad—her favorite porch buddy. Willa has a soft spot for gentle men and would thrive in a home with a patient adult or a quiet singleton who understands that trust takes time. She’s comfortable around calm canine companions and could coexist peacefully with another mellow dog. Her ideal day includes lounging in her own yard, soaking up the sunshine, and ending the day curled up in a cozy spot next to her person. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy who just needs a little time and patience to blossom, Willa Jean is ready to find her forever home—and her forever heart. 💕 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/684109704c93cce7b20cbfa7 If you have any questions, email her adoption coordinator at Marie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. ~ I can live in any size home, including apartments.
~ I want to live with adults but may consider teenagers pending introduction.
~ I may like to live with a cat but I have not had much experience living with dogs. I may be willing to share my home with a canine companion.
~ I love walks and playtime and would appreciate a home where I can get regular exercise every day.
~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I would do best with a family who has owned dogs before and is familiar with reading canine body language.
~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.

Meet Apollo, a sweet, happy, energetic boy looking for a fresh start after his family was displaced by a house fire. Apollo loves attention, cuddling with his people, car rides, walks, and playing with stuffed or squeaky toys. Hes vocal, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the action. Apollo previously lived in an adults-only home and would do best with adults or possibly respectful teenagers pending an introduction. He has lived with a cat before, does well with other dogs, and may enjoy sharing his home with a canine companion. His previous owner also reported that he is crate trained and fairly social in public settings. Apollo can take a little time to adjust to new environments and may also be somewhat head shy at first, so hell thrive with patient adopters who respect his space and allow him time to settle in. He would do best with a dog-savvy family committed to helping him feel safe and supported. He may do well in a variety of home settings, including apartments, as long as he receives regular exercise and enrichment.
