This little cutie arrived in NJ on July 11th and she’s settling into her foster home very well. Leonie is a Border Terrier mix who’s expected to be medium size full grown. She may be deaf, but she has a voice and she loves to use it! Leonie is already showing that she’s smart, curious, and fully engaged with the world around her. She loves to play with other dogs, but what she really loves is to be with her people. Actually, she loves any people and all people! Leonie is playful and loves her toys. She’s also affectionate and eager to connect with her humans.  Leonie is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue to guide her, communicate with her in creative ways, and celebrate just how special she is. If you believe the best things in life don’t always need words, Leonie might just be your perfect match. Leonie is up to date on vaccines and has been treated for puppy parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for her to be altered and micro-chipped at 5-6 months of age at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600.  - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cooper is a handsome, well mannered boy who is looking for a fresh start. He is currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.   Meet Copper —and yes, his beautiful copper coloring is just as handsome as he sounds! This sweet 3-year-old Border Terrier had his world turned upside down when the only family he’d ever known returned him to rescue. But Copper hasn’t let that change his loving, happy spirit. He’s truly all heart.  Copper is house-trained, dog-friendly, walks beautifully on a leash, rides great in the car, and is an excellent listener. He knows his commands, is eager to please (even without treats!), and is just an all-around GOOD BOY. He would love a fenced yard to run and play, but daily walks would make him just as happy—and he could absolutely thrive in an apartment, too! While he showed no reaction during cat testing, we think Copper would do best in a cat-free home. Copper is ready for someone to give him the forever home he thought he already had.  Could that be you? Copper is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. Personally, I identify as 100% Good Girl with a minor in Zoomies. I am the perfect size-not "tiny enough to lose in the couch cushions" and not "big enough to steal the whole bed". Although I will gladly test both theories. I come equipped with brains, beauty, and just the right amount of goofy.
