Meet Thor, a fun-loving, energetic guy who's always ready for his next adventure! Whether he's chasing his favorite stuffed toys, exploring the yard, or soaking up attention from his people, Thor approaches life with excitement and enthusiasm.
Thor is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the action. He already knows a few basic commands and is eager to spend time with the people he loves. One of his favorite things in the world is his collection of stuffed toys, and you'll often find him proudly carrying one around.
This active boy will do best with a family that can provide plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He's still polishing his manners, so consistent guidance will help him grow into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.
Thor has done well with other dogs his size, but he's more of an independent personality than a social butterfly. While he enjoys canine company, he's not one to spend hours playing and is perfectly content doing his own thing after a short play session.
Because of his energy level and need for structure, Thor would be happiest in a home without young children. He'll thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal sidekick to join them on walks, hikes, games of fetch, and everyday adventures.
Thor's previous life was spent confined to a kennel, and that experience left him with some lasting anxiety around being crated. When confined, he can become very vocal, so he'll do best in a home where crating isn't necessary and where he can continue building confidence in a safe, predictable environment.
