Gregory – 8 Week Old Border Terrier Schnauzer Mix | The Sweet Talker with the Serious Face Gregory is a happy little boy with the cutest serious expression when he locks eyes with you. Do not let that thoughtful look fool you though, his tail is almost always wagging. He was the first of the two brothers to discover his bark and loves to “talk” when he wants your attention. He enjoys playing outside and is right there for a good game of chase with his brother and foster sibling. He may be slightly calmer than Theodore, but at this young age he still has plenty of playful puppy energy. Gregory loves giving kisses and will follow them up with gentle nibbles. If you wear your hair in a scrunchie ponytail consider yourself warned, he and his brother think that is the best toy ever. Like his brother he sleeps through the night and does well with the crate when left open. Morning snuggles are his specialty and he loves starting the day curled up close to his people. Gregory would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet affectionate puppy with just the right amount of playful spark. He is being fostered in Texas but can be transported. You can apply directly for Theodore by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-814 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. Story
Theodore – 8 Week Old Border Terrier Schnauzer Mix | The Adventurous Entertainer Theodore is pure joy in puppy form. This happy little guy wiggles his tail with his entire body when he gets attention and makes sure you know just how excited he is to see you. He has recently found his bark and isn’t shy about using his voice to chat with you. He is adventurous and curious, especially outside where he loves to stalk his brother during play like a tiny hunter in training. He even climbs up the couch like a cat, determined to be right where the action is. Theodore plays confidently with his big foster brother Shiner and does not let size slow him down. He runs right up and initiates a good game of chase without hesitation. He sleeps through the night and does well with the crate, often choosing to nap inside when the door is left open. First thing in the morning he is ready for cuddles and affection before starting his day of exploring. Theodore would thrive in a home that enjoys a playful, confident puppy who is equal parts adventurous and affectionate. He is being fostered in Texas but can be transported. You can apply directly for Theodore by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-813 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Meet Laverne – Your Sunny-Spirited Adventure Buddy ☀️🐾 Laverne is a sweet, affectionate rescue girl who is ready to bring warmth, love, and companionship into her forever home. She is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion—perfect for cuddles, adventures, and everyday life. Laverne is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX, where she has settled beautifully into a loving routine. Laverne is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy transition into a new home. She is very dog friendly and truly enjoys the company of other dogs, whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing together after a busy day. One of her favorite pastimes is soaking up the sunshine—she loves curling up in a sunny spot by a window for a peaceful nap. This girl also loves to go places! Laverne loads easily into the car and enjoys standing on the console so she can see everything on the road ahead. Whether it’s a quick errand or a longer adventure, she’s always happy to ride along. She is leash trained and walks nicely, making daily strolls enjoyable. At heart, Laverne is a true cuddle bug. She adores being held, petted, and spending time close to her people. Bath time isn’t her favorite, but she tolerates baths well and handles them calmly. Laverne is a loving, well-rounded girl who is ready to offer sunshine naps, joyful adventures, and endless affection to her forever family. 💛 To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Bambi is a fearful girl who will need a patient person. She is friendly with other dogs-NO CATS. She was a stray for an unknown period of time and had to be trapped. She bonds tightly to a person and is a love once she feels safe. She is a runner so secure fencing is a MUST-children over age 10 would be best.

Story
Nick is very social with both people and other dogs. He would love a home with another playful canine companion. Cats are an unknown. He is crate trained and housebroken and seems to be okay on car rides. We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard. If children are living in the home, we do ask they are age 5 or above. We do make exceptions if there are already existing pets in the home.

Story
Meet Willa Jean! 🐾 Willa Jean is a shy but sweet scruffy girl with a heart that blooms once she feels safe. Though reserved at first, Willa forms deep bonds with her special person and finds comfort in quiet companionship. She currently lives with a foster family that includes older kids and other dogs, and she enjoys the calm, steady presence of her foster dad—her favorite porch buddy. Willa has a soft spot for gentle men and would thrive in a home with a patient adult or a quiet singleton who understands that trust takes time. She’s comfortable around calm canine companions and could coexist peacefully with another mellow dog. Her ideal day includes lounging in her own yard, soaking up the sunshine, and ending the day curled up in a cozy spot next to her person. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy who just needs a little time and patience to blossom, Willa Jean is ready to find her forever home—and her forever heart. 💕 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/684109704c93cce7b20cbfa7 If you have any questions, email her adoption coordinator at Marie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!   Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms.
