Story
Meet Cookie! A sweet, smart 5yo Border Collie who is blossoming into a wonderful country dog after the city life she grew up with. She is fully comfortable with wheelchair/walkers, gets along well with dogs and cats, and loves being your gentle, loyal shadow. She handles leashes well and is learning to watch wildlife without chasing. She's even starting to discover the joy of toys!I am reluctantly rehoming Cookie because, due to my disability, I simply cannot give her the active lifestyle, long walks, and outdoor space a young herding dog truly deserves.Cookie is a sensitive soul and feels uncertain in busy, high-stimulation environments. She needs a patient, loving home where she can continue building her confidence and working on off-leash recall.Ideal Home:Secure, physical fenced yard.Calm environment with active daily outlet.Cookie will make an incredibly devoted companion for someone ready to continue her progress.Adoption Fee: $300 (helps cover recent vet care & vaccinations).
