Story
We got Archie when he was 2 months old and currently will be v 8 years old. He loves chasing squirrels if given the opportunity. Loves going on walks, hikes. He is house trained and knows some commands. He almost never barks unless there’s a critter outside. We recently moved into a duplex with a small backyard and given we have 2 kids under 2 and we can’t give him the full attention he deserves. I would like him to go to a good home along with our other dog in the picture(golden retriever) since they have been together since they were pups.

Story
Meet Amazing senior gentleman Max!  For a guy that is 10 years young,  Max is an energetic Border Collie with a serious passion for fetch—but not your average game of fetch. Oh no, Max has his ownsignature move: drop the toy, give it a gentle nose nudge your way, thenback up like a quarterback waiting for the pass. It’s adorable, it’sefficient, and honestly, it’s kind of genius. He’s playful, polite on the leash, and always down for a splashy adventure ( hose, anyone ?). Whetherhe’s herding puddles or mastering his next toy toss routine, Max brings energy and good vibes to whatever he does. He usually has a smile on his face, and be on the lookout for that serious Border Collie stare. No senior deserves to be spending his Golden Years in the shelter, so if your looking to save a senior that still has a lot of pep in his step, come meet Max today !Max has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  He may do best with female dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
Meet Shyann – A Gentle Soul with a Heart Full of Love. Shyann is the kind of dog who quietly slips into your heart and stays there. With her sweet nature and calm presence, she doesn’t need to ask for your attention—you’ll just find yourself wanting to be near her. While Shyann may not present well in her kennel and be a bit vocal, don`t let that deter you from meeting her outside. The shelter environment can be stressful to all the dogs. Shyann thrives on connection and will happily spend her days close by, offering a soft nudge, a paw in your hand, or a loving look that says, “I’m here with you.” She’s loyal, affectionate, and always eager to please. Shyann walks beautifully by your side, checking in often as if to make sure you’re doing okay too. She knows “sit,” “down,” “shake,” and “watch me,” and she’ll gladly show off her skills—especially if there’s a treat and a kind word involved. Her gentle spirit makes her the perfect companion for someone who wants a true bond, one built on quiet moments, shared walks, and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a best friend who brings calm, connection, and comfort into your life, Shyann is ready to be yours. Come meet her today :)  Shyann recently met some social dogs at our shelter.  She was defensive and didn`t seem to want to make new friends here. It`s possible that if her new adopter were to do slow introductions over a matter of days or weeks, she may do well with a social, well mannered dog in her home.  To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
