🐱🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈🐱 Do you go crazy for a sharp dressed man? 🕴️🕴️ We got your dapper guy right here! 🤵‍♂️ Tux, short for Tuxedo 🤵‍♂️ is a 8-month-old boy who looks sophisticated. But underneath that drip outfit is a goofy, intelligent puppy who is discovering the real world for the very first time. We are guessing he is a Border Collie mix 👔 – but that is just a guess. He is on track to probably be around 70ish pounds full grown. Despite a sheltered start, Tux is very happy, friendly, cheerful, and wonderfully intelligent. He learns quickly, responds well to “no,” and pays close attention to his people. Tux has a sweet, thoughtful nature beneath his playful puppy energy. His favorite toys are balls ⚽️, bones 🦴, and sticks 🪾 so let’s go! Tux was rescued from death row at a rural shelter and is now discovering what “the good life” means. So much of the world is brand new to him — he had never seen a TV, vacuum cleaner, or lawn mower before coming into foster care, and he currently believes metal cat sculptures might really be alive! LOL. Tux is a striking young pup 🕶️ with a sleek black coat, white chest, adorable nose marking, and the kind of upright ears that have a personality all their own. Tux is dog friendly and would likely thrive with a confident canine sibling who could continue showing him how wonderful the real world is, though that’s not required. He is curious and wants to play with cats. He thinks it’s a game when they run, so he’ll chase them but isn’t aggressive. He’s energetic, eager to learn, and full of potential — he likely would do great with advanced training, like agility or specialty training. For now, he comes when he’s called, and he’s working on learning to sit on command. He has nice leash manners, and is steadily perfecting potty training. He is crate trained as well. Tux is looking for the family who will show him that home is the very best adventure of all. He is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. He’ll come to you current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $275. Meet & greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
It’s easy to fall for his looks (just wait till you see him in person), but there’s a lot more to bodacious Bo than his cute face! 🎩🖤 Bo is an 11-month-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who will likely be around 10 pounds full grown. His personality, however, is much bigger than his size. He’s a goofy, happy little guy who can switch from play mode to nap mode in record time. He loves zooming around the yard (and fully expects you to join in), and fair warning: he will absolutely run circles around you if given the chance. Bo enjoys playing with other small dogs, does well in his pen (even overnight), and is generally a quiet, easy houseguest. He’s still working on his puppy skills. He knows his name, understands that potty time happens outside, and is very motivated by kibble and treats. He’s not fully reliable just yet, so patience and consistency will go a long way as he continues to learn! Bo can be very sweet and affectionate, but he prefers to come to you on his own terms (aka: cuddles are best when they’re his idea). Because of that, he’d likely do best in a home without young kids. While he hasn’t been around cats, he does enjoy other small dogs. And that soft, fluffy coat? It will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. ✂️ Bo has dry eye syndrome, which means he’ll need daily eye drops and ongoing care with a veterinary ophthalmologist to keep his eyes healthy. He usually cooperates, but may add a little drama with some wiggles or grumbles. Thanks to his small size, it’s all very doable with the right routine. This special little guy will thrive with someone patient, understanding, and willing to meet him where he is. In return, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind best friend with a big personality packed into a small package. Bo’s adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Apply to meet Bo at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
