Story
🐾 Meet Jack! 🐾 Jack is a 15-month-old Border Collie mix weighing just under 60 pounds, and if you’re looking for a sweet, social, easygoing companion, this handsome boy checks all the boxes. Jack came to us from Oklahoma after being rescued from a truly heartbreaking situation. Despite his difficult start, he hasn’t let his past define him. Instead, he’s proven to be one of the kindest, happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. This lovable guy adores everyone. He is said to be wonderful with kids, teenagers, adults, cats, and dogs of every size—Jack is happy to make friends with them all. He has wonderful manners around food, treats, toys, and chewies, showing no signs of resource guarding with either people or other dogs. In his foster home, Jack has become fast friends with his foster siblings, a German Shepherd mix and a Cattle Dog mix. While he’ll play with toys occasionally, he’d much rather spend his time wrestling with another dog or hanging out with his people. When playtime is over, Jack is all about the cuddles. He’s incredibly affectionate and sometimes gives the sweetest little hugs by gently putting his paws up to say hello. He’s also eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance, happily getting back down when asked. Jack is already showing great house manners, too. He consistently goes to the door when he needs to go outside, has done well in a kennel while his foster is away, and settles nicely overnight after a few moments of protest. He’s a smart, responsive young dog who is eager to learn and ready to continue becoming an amazing family companion. If you’re looking for a dog with the playful spirit of a young pup, the loving heart of a best friend, and the temperament to fit into almost any family, Jack is ready to meet you. ❤️ ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! We’ll help you find the right match. Story
Oh my goodness, Beatrix. Cute much? It’s hard to believe she’s even cuter in person! Left behind when her previous people moved away, this approximately 1-year-old Border Collie mix is approximately 55 lbs. Her estimated DOB March 2025. She is doing beautifully in foster care, learning all the things a young dog should know. While she can be initially shy with new experiences, Border Collies are smart and Beatrix is no exception. This gal is something special. Her foster mom shared: • Beatrix is in training to work on manners and learns quickly. • She is very food motivated and eager to please. • She is nervous around strangers at first but warms up quickly. • Beatrix would do best with an active family (she loves walks) and a fenced yard. • She would also do best with another dog in the home. • Once comfortable, B is cuddly, affectionate, and loves staying by your side. Belly rubs are her favorite! • She loves her stuffies, too. • She is dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare. • She is house trained and kennel trained. • We do not know how she is with cats. Beatrix is ready for her forever family, who will give her the love and guidance she deserves. If you’re good, she’ll even train you how to rub her belly just the way she likes. Are you ready to welcome fun and affection to your life? Start by completing and submitting an application for Beatrix. A volunteer will be in touch. https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives. As such, we screen all potential adopters and strive to match each adopter with the perfect fit for their lifestyle and activity level. All adopters must live within a 4 hour drive of Parkville, Missouri.

Story
Hi friends! My name is Willy. I'm a border collie mix of sorts and quite handsome if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a special dog, a real shy guy, but if someone would just give me a chance I will make a great companion. I love other dogs, as long as they're friendly, and I absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog or two to show me I'm in a safe place. We all need some reassurance sometimes, right? I also need a fenced yard. Whoever my new owner is will need to be able to give me lots of time and space to feel comfortable with them. I'm a really good boy, I'm crate trained and house broken, but until I get used to you I'm gonna need you to keep your paws to yourself. I promise it's not personal, and you'll see I'm worth the wait! Willy is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's located at The Pet Connection Sanctuary in Beloit, KS, but transportation to the right home may be available. To learn more about Willy please contact The Pet Connection by call or text- 913-671-PETS (7387).

Meet Blitz, our friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! She's a fun-loving border collie mix, around a year old. She is super smart, loves other dogs and kids, and is looking for a home with people who are familiar with or willing to learn about herding breed dogs. Blitz loves going on adventures and is a very good girl in the car! When her friend took her on a day out of the shelter, including to pick out a toy, Blitz had soooo much fun! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information. She's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available.

🛼🛼 Like, totally awesome! 📼 It’s time to meet the cool kids: Ally Sheedy (F), Anthony Michael Hall (M), Demi Moore (F), Emilio Estevez (M), Mare Winningham (F), Molly Ringwald (F) and Robert Downey Jr. (M) are 2-month-old puppies whose names serve 80s movie nostalgia. 📺☎️ 📽️🎞️The Brat Pack Litter🎞️📽️ are a full salad bar of more than 20 breeds, the largest shares of which are Australian Cattle Dog (20%), Chihuahua (14%) and Beagle (9%). Their DNA predicts they’ll weigh between 33 and 66 pounds. They don’t have to wear pink 🎀 though that would be pretty, 😉 and they don’t have to be part of a club for any meal. 🍳 Instead, they are ready to wiggle, waddle, run and cuddle their way into your heart with their puppy-dog eyes, soft coats and pure innocence. 🩷 🩷 Ally – She’ll be your shadow, wherever you go. Ally loves being held and craves attention. 💙 Anthony -- Tiny boy who is incredibly sweet and loves soaking up all the love and affection. 🩷 Demi -- The tiniest girl, but don't let her size fool you! Emilio keeps everyone entertained. 🩷 Mare -- Sweet, snuggly, and perfectly content curled up for a nap. Mare is happiest when she's close to her people. 🩷 Molly -- The social butterfly of the group! Story
🎤 Hey there, you’re just in time, because here comes a little bit of rhyme 🎤 This is Bonnie Tyler, and here’s her sister Sunny Skye. They are 7-month-old American Blue Heelers, and their cute faces hit you right in the feelers. 🤩 They do kinda match, but either one of them is quite a catch. 💅 At first they might be a bit shy, 🫣 but give them a few minutes and they’ll say hi. These girls are full of pep and fun, so bring one to your yard and watch her run. 🏡🏃‍♀️‍➡️ The puppy antics can get a little goofy, but pet their coats and discover they’re so floofy. ☁️ They are puppies who are eager to learn,🧠 and they have some energy to burn. Other dogs can easily be their best friends, 🤝 and with a pair or a group,🐕🐩 the entertainment never ends. When you’re relaxing, huddle up and make a plan to snuggle your pup. 🥰 At night, it’s time to go to sleep, 😴 so put them in their crate and you won’t hear a peep. Whether you want Bonnie or think you need Sunny, all you have to do is give us a little ring (o). 📞✍️ Sunny Skye and Bonnie Tyler are each looking for their furever home. They are house-trained and crate-trained. They’ll likely be between 45-50 pounds, and each girl will come to you spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Their adoption fee is $175. Once you’re approved to adopt, their foster will be in touch to set up a meet & greet. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕
