Hi there! I’m Isles, a young, sleek, and super-smart Doberman Doodle mix looking for a forever human. I’ll go ahead and address the elephant in the room: I am the proud masterpiece of an accidental litter! Thanks to that little mix-up, I ended up with quite the combination of brains, beauty, and long-legged charm. I can be a very shy girl, and sometimes the world feels a little overwhelming. I am looking for someone patient who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight and will give me the time and space I need to feel safe. Once I start to trust you, you’ll get to see more and more of the sweet, smart girl underneath. If you already have a dog at home, I’d love the chance to meet them first so we can make sure we’ll be a good match! I know a whole lot of tricks. The only one I haven’t figured out yet? How to get someone to take me home. Hi, I’m Cosmo! I’m a smart, people-loving guy who already has quite the résumé. I know sit, shake, lay down, stand, heel, and leave it—and I’m always happy to show off what I know. There is, however, a belly-rub tax associated with spending time with me. I don’t make the rules. Shelter life can be a lot for a dog like me. There’s constant noise, activity, people coming and going, and other dogs everywhere. Sometimes that environment makes it harder to see the sweet, incredibly lovable dog underneath all that stimulation. Give me some one-on-one time and you’ll meet a dog who bonds with his people, loves attention, enjoys working with you, and has so much potential. I already have an amazing foundation—I just need someone willing to give me consistency, structure, and chance to settle into life outside of the shelter. I would do best as the only dog in my home, and I know that makes my perfect match a little harder to find. But being your one and only just means I’m prepared to take my position as your best friend very seriously. I have already learned sit, shake, down, stand, heel, and leave it.
