James was adopted into a home with other dogs but is having difficulty with sharing the home. His adopter has made the difficult decision to rehome James. He is a 2 year old Poodle/Doberman/Akita. He is neutered and was just seen at the vet for a check up. When asked to describe James, we were told he is loving, playful and quick to learn. If you are looking to add an easy companion who prefers the company of people over other animals, send us an email at support@almosthomeri.org We are asking a donation be made to the rescue in lieu of our standard adoption fee.

He's expected to stay on the smaller side, around 40 lbs full grown, making him a great medium-sized companion.This smart boy is quick to learn and loves to make his people smile with his goofy, funny personality. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal.Todd is doing wonderfully with house training and crate training, and he's already showing how eager he is to learn.He does great with kids and other dogs, but will need a feline-free home as he may chase cats. Todd is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home.
