Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kevin and Oswald are an 11yr old bonded pair that need to be adopted together. Bonded means that these dogs have been together since 2017 and are very attached to each other. They are both very sweet, playful, and want to be where ever their people are. Both dogs are housetrained, and their fosters have said that they haven't had one accident in the house since they came to live with them. Kevin and Oswald love to ride in the car, and they absolutely love to go for walks with their foster parents. In fact, they have been going for two substantial walks a day. Yes, they are seniors, but they are healthy, and as one of the fosters related, "They still have a lot of gas in their tank!" Now for some individual differences: Kevin- is 25 lbs. He likes to play tug of war with his brother and always wins. He is a power walker and has completed several 19 minute mile/hour walks. Kevin is a snuggler and likes to sleep on his foster's lap while he works on the computer. He has cataracts, but though it may limit his sight, it does not stop him from being an active happy Boston Terrier. Oswald- is a bigger boy and weighs 33 lbs. He is very loving and most interested in following his person around wherever they are, joyfully wagging his stubby tail. He loves his walks but prefers to walk more leisurely than Kevin. The most interesting thing about Oswald is that he likes to talk, and he can relate a whole story while Kevin seems to shake his head in agreement. If you have the heart for seniors, these two would be a great pair to adopt and bring home. They will make your lives better for sure!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 17, 2026, 9:37 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rolo (like the candy) is a loving 7 year old chocolate brown male with beautiful white markings, and a love of humans and kitties. He loves to go for a walk and is well-behaved on leash. He likes to ride in the car, and knows to "wait" to get out. He has some favorite toys (especially balls!), enjoys fetching (and knows to "drop" to get another turn!). He is reported to be patient and kind with small children (but his foster family does not have any around). Rolo has had the company of humans pretty much 24/7 for much of the past few years, and he gets anxious if his humans are gone for more than a few hours. He expresses this as "bored barking" in the backyard, which makes for irritated neighbors. His fosters are working on helping him channel this with additional exercise and stimulation. Rolo has also been an "only canine" all his life, and we expect he will need to remain so as he has not tolerated "meet and greets" with other canines. He has given his foster family multiple indications that he has no intention of sharing his human's attentions with any other dog, thank you, though he has been good with companionship from tolerant kitties. If you love to play ball, have no other dogs, and don't expect to partake of "pooch patios" at local restaurants or events, Rolo may be a great fit for your home! If you are interested in Rolo, please fill out an online adoption form and specify your interest in him.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 15, 2026, 11:21 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lucas and Louie, a bonded pair of 5-year-old boys who must be adopted together. These two bodacious brothers are looking for their forever home, where they can get endless belly rubs and lots of playtime. Lucas is a total sweetheart, intelligent, and loves with reckless abandon. He's athletic, zooming around and jumping over obstacles, including his brother, Louie  He's a ball fanatic and will do almost anything for a good game of catch. Lucas is a quick learner; he really wants to please. He is crate trained. While he walks well on a leash, he is working on proper manners towards other people and dogs that he meets on his walks. He has visited dog parks and does well there, engaging with dogs and people alike. Louie is a food enthusiast and is more interested in treats, but he's learning that doing what's asked comes first before treats. He enjoys stuffed animals and chewing on things, including Lucas. Louie steals Lucas's ball, because he likes a good game of chase. Along with a good chase, Louie loves a good time with a squirting hose. Like Lucas, he walks well on a leash but also needs correction when meeting people and other dogs; and like Lucas, he enjoys the dog park. Two can be better than one, because Lucas and Louie entertain each other, giving their humans time to do other things and enjoy some time to themselves. These dogs are terrific! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kendra is a very sweet and easy to handle older dog that was found as a stray by a kind business owner who turned her over to rescue.  She sleeps well in her crate and does well with the other dogs in the fosters home.  With an approved diet she appears to be getting stronger and learning to master the doggie door. She enjoys an early romp in the yard with one of her foster brothers and is chill the rest of the day. She has a very curious mind and enjoys seeing new things. Kendra enjoys her car rides and is just a very sweet, perfect little companion. We believeshe will be .happiest with another K9 companion. Story
Hi, I’m Cutie - Yes… that’s really my name—and trust me, it fits. How I Got My Name So here’s the deal: I was found at the QT, and the rescue posted me everywhere hoping someone would come forward and say, “That’s my dog.” They waited two full months to see if anyone had lost me… but no one ever did. Honestly? It’s probably for the best—because whatever my life was before this was fucking terrible. Being overlooked turned out to be the thing that saved me. From there, I landed at FFR, started my glow-up, and officially became Cutie—because after everything I’ve been through, softness finally found me. The Real Me I’m 3 years old and 23 lbs of pure snuggle energy. When I first came into rescue, I was terrified. I would crouch down when people approached, unsure if love was coming or not. Fast-forward a couple months and now? I jump up when I see you—because I KNOW affection is waiting on the other side. Love changed everything for me. Cuddle Queen Status Let’s get one thing straight: I am a professional couch potato with a PhD in snuggling. I’m potty trained, crate trained (though I will 100% choose your bed if given the option), and I firmly believe blankets and pillows are non-negotiable life essentials. I roll over instantly for belly rubs, never say no to a treat, and I take my cuddle responsibilities very seriously. Playtime & Friends I love toys—especially Nylabones—and I adore playing with my foster sibling Violet, who is just a teeny tiny baby. I’m gentle, playful, and sweet with other dogs. Basically, I’m the fun aunt who also wants to nap immediately after. My Health & Care I came in with a serious ear infection, but good news—it’s cleared up! That said, my ears will need to be cleaned twice a week, no skipping allowed. It’s an absolute must for me to stay comfortable and healthy. I also struggle with yeast and allergies, but don’t worry—we’ve got them under control now. I’m on allergy meds and a prescription diet, and WOW has it made a difference. I’m feeling better every day. Oh—and yes, I have crate feet (I go full gremlin paws in the crate, not my fault I lived in one…), but those will improve with time and confidence. Foster Life Commentary I love my foster dad, beg him for food regularly, and attempt to manage my foster mom’s job… though I usually fall asleep before I can clock in. Turns out, supervising humans is exhausting. My Perfect Home I never knew what “spoiled” meant before rescue—but now I do, and I’m ready to keep living that life. I’m looking for a family who understands routines, keeps up with my ear care and diet, and wants a loyal, affectionate, slightly bossy cuddle companion. If you’re searching for a dog who will make your house feel like home, warm your heart, and steal your blankets— I’m your girl.

Story
Pablo, Pablito, Pablo the Potato, Wheels of Steel-Happiness is a Choice Hi. I’m Pablo. I’m 2 years old, and I’m very happy to be alive. I was surrendered because my old family didn’t have the time to care for me anymore. No hard feelings — life happens. What matters is I’m safe now, and I wake up every single day excited about it. My medical records say I have two calcified discs that haven’t ruptured and some wedged vertebrae. Surprise, surprise… I’m a French Bulldog. We’re built a little different. The most important thing? I’m not in pain. I’m just me — happy, wiggly, and ready for whatever’s next. Personality: Pure Joy in a Compact Body If you’re looking for easy-going with a splash of personality, that’s me. I bunny hop up to give kisses. I run like my legs work perfectly (because in my mind, they do). I follow my pack everywhere like it’s my full-time job. Nothing stops me. I love being part of the group, whether that’s lounging near you, cruising in my wheels, or supervising the backyard like a tiny manager. I love a good bone to chew, mealtime is my absolute favorite event of the day, and I’m always smiling about something. Sometimes I get excited and let out a little scream — we’re working on that — but honestly, I just have big feelings about life. During diaper changes I may perform a professional-level alligator roll, and I’m not a fan of having my feet wrapped, but I promise I will make up for it with kisses. Mobility & Medical I can stand and take a couple of steps — about two solid ones — and I do favor my right hind leg. But guess what? I learned to use my wheelchair in about half a second. I don’t see it as a big deal. It just means I move a little differently. I’m stable, comfortable, and I feel good. I’ll need a family who keeps me safe from jumping, keeps me at a healthy weight, and helps protect my spine long term. But I don’t need pity. I just need partnership. I start my Chiro appointments in a few weeks and I’m so excited to get back up and go! FFR has gotten dogs back up, so I have some high hopes! You just have to believe! Training & Manners I know some important things like “come,” “stop,” and “sit” (we’re all still negotiating what that looks like). I take treats nicely because I’m a gentleman. I absolutely thrive with other dogs and love being part of a pack. I don’t love it when a new dog rushes right into my face — I prefer polite introductions with proper butt sniffing etiquette. Once we’ve established the rules, I’m all in. I’ll follow my dog friends everywhere like we’re in a little squad. The Home I’m Looking For I’m looking for a loving home that sees how capable I am. I want people who are calm, steady, and ready to laugh with me. A home with other friendly dogs would make me very happy, but mostly I just want to belong. I’m easy-going, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever is happening. I don’t wake up thinking about what I can’t do. I wake up thinking about breakfast, friends, and kisses. Final thought I’m Pablo. I’m joyful. I’m resilient. I’m gentle and goofy and completely in love with life. If you’re ready for a little shadow who will follow you everywhere, zoom beside you in my wheels, and remind you daily that happiness is a choice, I think we’d be perfect together. Call me whatever just call me home! Pablo is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, his adoption donation fee is $1000.00 and he is being fostered in Mesa, AZ. You can apply for him at freedomfrenchierescue.org.
