**Meet Bohdi!**
Bohdi is a 9-year-old Pug weighing 24.5 pounds with a goofy personality and an even bigger love of snacks. Whether it's breakfast, a favorite treat, or spending time with his people, Bohdi approaches life with enthusiasm and a happy spirit.
Bohdi is a calm, affectionate companion who loves being around people. He does great with children and would make a wonderful family dog. He is also fantastic with other dogs and truly enjoys canine companionship, making him an excellent addition to a home with resident dogs. His excitement is contagious when it's time for attention, and his sweet, easygoing nature makes him a joy to have around.
One of Bohdi's favorite things in the world is food! He is highly food motivated, making treats a great way to continue training, build a strong bond, and keep his mind engaged.
While in NMDR's care, Bohdi completed heartworm treatment and may benefit from follow-up care with his adopter's veterinarian. He also has a few ongoing medical needs. Bohdi has chronic ear disease that will require routine monitoring and care, as well as pigmentary keratitis, an eye condition common in Pugs that requires continued management. He will need to return to the NMDR clinic in September for an eye recheck.
Bohdi is looking for a loving home that will embrace both his playful spirit and his senior status while supporting his ongoing medical care.
A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for Bohdi and his potential adopters.
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a silly streak, a loving heart, and plenty of personality, Bohdi is ready to spend his golden years by your side.
------
Many NMDR dogs have had limited prior socialization and may need time, patience, and support as they adjust to home life. Skills such as house training, leash walking, and handling may require continued practice. Progress will vary by individual dog. Homes with older children are often a good fit, depending on temperament. To learn more about NMDR and our adoption process, please visit our website.
