Jenga #1 | 3-year old, Pug/Chi mix | Your little cuddle shadow Jenga is a sweet, affectionate 12-pound girl who just needs a little time to warm up. After arriving at Denver Animal Shelter as a surrender and spending a couple of weeks decompressing, she has really started to come out of her shell. Once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving and wants to be your constant shadow. Jenga loves snuggles, belly rubs, being under the covers, and resting her head on you. She is playful, enjoys toys and Nylabones, and is very motivated by treats. She gets along well with small and same-size dogs and enjoys trying to play with her foster siblings. She has also done well with a cat, mostly ignoring her but occasionally trying to play. Jenga is still working on house training and learning her basic cues. She can pull a little on leash but otherwise walks well and enjoys sniffing and exploring. She has a medium energy level and is happy with some casual activity before settling in for couch time. She can be shy at first, but once comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality really shines. Jenga would love a home with plenty of love, patience, and snuggle time. A friendly canine companion would be a big plus, especially if her humans are gone for much of the day.
