Story
Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus. Story
Meet Otis – The Gentleman with the Biggest Heart  At 2 ½ years old and 27 pounds, Otis is the perfect little package of love. This Boston Terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Min Pin magic!) is as charming as they come. Sadly, Otis lost his beloved human, and his tender heart has been looking for someone new to love ever since.  Otis is the definition of a loyal friend—he adores people and is wonderful with other dogs. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he’ll happily bring joy to any home. The only thing he asks is a cat-free environment, since our feline friends aren’t his cup of tea. Healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Otis is ready to start fresh. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for his person, the one who will give him the love and stability he deserves.  If you’re searching for a best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Otis is your boy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#156&#168 Could Otis be the missing piece of your heart?   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 28, 2025, 8:49 am

ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Story
This little bundle of joy and love is the life of the party! Meet Boston Bear! If we had to guess, which we do, we would say this girl is a Boston terrier mix! She is a small girl, with those classic iconic Boston ears, legs, and smooshie face. She is still a young pup at 1 year old! Boston is seriously ready to be the star of someone’s life-- ASAP! She is a total playful goofball when meeting new friends. She would love a yard to run and play in while she works on mastering her leash skills! She is doing so great, and due to her smaller size she really is easy for most people to handle. Anywhooo, when we put her in playgroup, we realized she gravitated towards a more mellow male who was three times her size funny enough. She still got to play with everyone, including another larger more playful female! We would say that these two types of friends could be a good match for her, or she could be your one and only superstar! Check out Boston Bear and fall in love here! https://youtu.be/13SL-N2cdBc?si=3NNhMIQd6FaXkpiD This girl is 100% a good time. She even got in the kiddie pool! We love her confidence! When we came inside, she immediately went for the cozy couch. We played a quick game of fetch, but it was more like chase, hahaha! She is still learning to bring the ball back. But then I discovered her favorite thing... Stuffies! She just lit up when I pulled out a little stuffed bear for her. Eventually I joined my new friend mama on the couch. It was immediate snuggles and cuddles! I love how affectionate this girl is. She definitely has a way of making you feel loved. So-- what do you say?
