Story
Bentley is 12 years old. I’ve had him since he was eight weeks old. Great dog always has been. I moved back to Connecticut six months ago. Had to look for housing and can’t have him where I live. He is currently staying at my daughter’s house, but she works and always traveling, so I’m left running between two households to make sure he’s okay. I also work and I’m 74 and the running back and fourth is getting a little to much. It truly breaks my heart to have to rehome him because I’ve had him for so long, but he will love anybody that loves him. All he wants to do is chill and his age.

Story
Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus. Story
Meet Otis – The Gentleman with the Biggest Heart  At 2 ½ years old and 27 pounds, Otis is the perfect little package of love. This Boston Terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Min Pin magic!) is as charming as they come. Sadly, Otis lost his beloved human, and his tender heart has been looking for someone new to love ever since.  Otis is the definition of a loyal friend—he adores people and is wonderful with other dogs. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he’ll happily bring joy to any home. The only thing he asks is a cat-free environment, since our feline friends aren’t his cup of tea. Healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Otis is ready to start fresh. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for his person, the one who will give him the love and stability he deserves.  If you’re searching for a best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Otis is your boy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#156&#168 Could Otis be the missing piece of your heart?   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 28, 2025, 8:49 am

If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Story
Lulu is a 1 year old female Boston Terrier mix who’s the total package! She is smart, sweet, and full of love. Weighing in at 30–35 pounds, she’s the perfect size for families who want a companion big enough for adventures but small enough to curl up close. This girl is already a star student: she’s potty trained, crate trained, and knows her house manners (she even stays off the couch!) But don’t worry—she’ll make up for it with extra cuddle time on the floor, where she’ll happily soak up all the belly rubs and ear scratches you can give. This girl is so smart that she has even learned how to let herself in the back door at her foster home. Lulu is wonderful with kids, and she’s great with dogs of all sizes, making her a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. Sweet, affectionate, and loyal, Lulu is looking for a family who will love her as much as she’ll love them. Could she be the missing piece in your home? Lulu is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/
