Story
If you would like to apply to take VINCE home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Vince started life on a hoarder house and was a shy boy when he came to us, it took him a minute to work out that the world is ok outside of that house and it’s ok to trust. He’s come on in leaps and bounds, and has turned into a happy little boy in his new environment. Whilst we expect there to be a period of adjustment and some shyness he has shown us that he can do it. He’s very well socialised with other dogs. He might not be the best candidate for a super noisy home with young children. But that’s for his sake not theirs, he’s a sweetheart.

Diesel looks like a little tough fella but he’s not, he’s a big baby. After starting life in a hoarder house he’s now living free and enjoying being able to be a real dog. He has medium energy, and has got past his shyness, and whilst we expect there to be a period of adjustment going into a new home, he has shown us that he can absolutely do this and be a very happy and confident little guy.

Story
If you would like to apply to take AURORA home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Aurora is around 3-4 years old and Ariel is around 1-2 years old, they could even be mother and daughter (ARIEL has been adopted) They both came from a hoarder situation and haven’t seen much of the world until now, both are a little shy but learning to trust and adjust to new experiences. We are looking for a quiet home for them, no young kids or busy noisy households, they could be adopted together or separately, but both seem to do better in the company of another dog. Aurora is slightly more shy than Ariel.

Sweet Maxine is a low key, lower energy lady, she likes other dogs and playing with a few toys, but mainly she likes to just hang out with a person. Story
If you are looking for the perfect-sized lap dog, look no further because Pippa is your girl! Weighing approx 42 pounds and estimated to be about 14 months old, Pippa defines the meaning of lovable, cute, happy, and cuddly when it comes to the definition of the "perfect" dog. She is learning how to walk on a leash and is doing a great job at it. She also loves all the fosters she has been introduced to. Pippa is crate-trained and housetrained. She would love to find her forever home so she can enjoy the summer with her humans. Whether it be one human or several, she will be content wherever she is. Pippa is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
