Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Be sure to watch his video!  Bingo is an 8 month old male Boston Terrier mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly and well-socialized, never meets a stranger. Typical Boston Terrier traits:  affectionate, intelligent, lively, active, playful!  Good with other dogs. Fine with cats. Loves kids, he’s great with foster mom’s young son but might be a little too active for toddlers. Very active, high energy level. Boston Terriers need daily walks and active playtime. Housebroken and crate trained.  Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Boston Terriers are highly intelligent and quick learners, but can have a stubborn streak. They respond best to positive reinforcement and gentle correction and Bingo exemplifies this trait as he’s highly motivated by treats as you can see in his video. DOB estimated 7-1-25. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 22 pounds.  Bingo’s ideal adopter would be an active family who is familiar with the breed and has the time and energy for a highly active puppy and the inclination to continue his training and socialization so he can reach his full potential. Bingo is an AWESOME young BT mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!)  for an active family who loves the breed. Story
Ripken is a confident little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Loyal, playful, and always ready to show up, he’s a true MVP of puppy love. Ripken is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/29/26 Still available! Fully vetted and ready to go to his new home this coming weekend! 3/16/26 Introducing our Pastry Puppies! These babies are SO PRECIOUS! Their mom appears to be a Boston Terrier mix or a Boxer mix (we aren't sure) who weighs about 35 lbs. She is brindle with one blue eye. Sadly, mom and puppies were abandoned by her owners when they moved. They simply put her, her sister, and the whole litter of puppies outside in the yard, and they left and never came back. No food. No water. No shelter. Just 2 little dogs with newborn babies, with no way to fend for themselves. They are all safe now, and the babies will soon be ready to find their own homes! They are the sweetest little nuggets. I do not believe they will be as small as most Boston Terriers, but they probably won't be very big. I would say they'll probably be close to mom's size of around 35-40 lbs once grown. Some may be smaller than that. It's impossible to know for sure. Regardless, they are wonderful, loving little babies that need homes! They are currently about 8 weeks old and weigh between 7-10 lbs. Bismarck is the 2nd largest, after Croissant. He is incredibly sweet. In New England.  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/16/26 Izzy22 lbs, Boston Terrier/Rat Terrier mix, 6 years old. Izzy is a precious, sweet, low key little girl. Her owners had her since she was a newborn, but due to their own failing health, they were unable to continue caring for her. They were broken hearted to have to surrender her to a rescue, but they wanted to make sure she was safe and had a chance at finding another family to love her as much as they do. Izzy is totally house trained. She is only 6 years old, but the gray on her face makes her look older than she is. That is just her coloring, and she has always had the gray, even as a puppy. Izzy's owners took excellent care of her and made sure all of her vetting was kept up to date and she was spayed. We commend them for the care they provided her, and want to honor their wishes for her to find another loving family. Izzy is good with other dogs but was recently attacked by another larger dog, resulting in the injury to her nose that you see in her photos. It is healing well, but will probably always have a scar. Despite this attack, she is still friendly and sweet with other dogs. For her protection, she should be paired with another non aggressive dog that is similar in energy to her. She has short bursts of playfulness (she LOVES squeaky toys!), but is mostly interested in cuddling. Izzy's mom was a boston terrier and her dad was a rat terrier. She is a lovely little girl with a sweet, calm energy. She has been good with the young child in her foster home, but does get a little nervous when he's being rambunctious. She would be fine a home with kids as long as they are gentle with her and not super rowdy. Izzy is located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally, or she can transport to the New England area if adopted there. If adopted in New England, his adopter will need to pick him up (or arrange for a trusted friend/family to pick him up) on a Saturday in PA, NY, or CT. Residents of other states may adopt as well, as long as they can meet our transporter along their route.
