Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. Gremmy found herself at a high kill shelter where she was scared to death and just shaked in her run. We got a phone call to see if we could help her get out of there. Of course we went and got her. Gremmy looks to be part Boston Terrier and Shih Tzu. She has the body of the Boston and the coat of a Shih Tzu. She would be best suited in a home without another dog as she is not a fan. She has been fine with the foster mums cats, will want to chase if they run but has never hurt them. When we first got her she was a bit scared going out on a leash, now she is fine. Say hello to TESS! Tess is such a doll you can’t help but smile to look at that face and those teeth. This love bug came into the rescue from a hoarder situation. Tess is fully vetted, spayed and 2 to 3 years old. She is in a wonderful foster home with some of her friends from her old place and with a couple of her foster mom’s dogs and doing just wonderful. This sweet loving pup needs a home to call her own that is not overwhelmed and over crowded with other dogs. Such situations lack the time and attention every dog deserves. Tess is going to make an awesome companion for any family. Especially little dog loving families. She is dang near perfect. Personality: Tess is goofy, energetic, and playful! She loves to snuggle up on the end of the couch for long naps. She is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where she can grow to be a wonderful life long family friend. Once adopted Tess will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Bandit, came to us along with Buddy and Hershey because their owner had stage 4 lung cancer and could no longer care for them. She's super scared and sweet and you just want to help her. The man kept these dogs in crates for seven years. Everything is over stimulation for her. Overall she’s doing very well considering her entire world has been erased and there's so much around new to get used to. She is very very sweet. I believe she’s half bull dog—she has the bull dog snort. She weighs 38 lbs. She lived with other dogs in her life ---both males and females and she lived another male and a cat in her foster home. At first she wasn’t overly friendly with the dogs here but has adjusted after a slow introduction. Bandit is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. She is also housetrained. Byrdie would make the best Christmas present for your family! We hate to let her go. We have an older pug that we have had for 4 years, we have had an amazing experience with her. We decided to get another one from an Amish breeder. For some odd reason, I am allergic to only her. We have tried to stick it out for 2 months now but I’m not adjusting. We are about to move to Kentucky and would rather find her a new home before the transition. She is so sweet, needs to be potty trained, but is the most playful girl. She is wonderful with our kids of all ages. She loves to cuddle and get a bath. I’m hoping to find someone she can really bond with like we have done with our other pug.
