Story
✨ Meet Ginger — a tiny puppy with a big heart and an even bigger future. ✨   This 3-month-old Boston Terrier mix weighs about 10 pounds and is already stealing attention everywhere she goes. With her scruffy little cheeks and bright, curious eyes, Ginger has that “you can’t help but fall in love” kind of cuteness.   Ginger is your classic happy puppy — playful, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves running around with toys, exploring her surroundings, and enjoying the company of other dogs. She has a naturally friendly personality and seems to adore just about everyone she meets.   Once she’s done playing, Ginger turns into a total cuddle bug. She loves being held, petted, and close to her people. She’s the kind of puppy who wants to be right where the love is.   She is currently learning pad training and is doing her best, though she still has the occasional accident as she continues to learn. Like all young puppies, she just needs consistency, patience, and guidance.   Her parents are a Boston Terrier mix and a Wheaten Terrier, both around 30 pounds, so she is expected to remain a small-to-medium sized companion.   Because she is still so young, Ginger needs a home where someone is around most of the time to help her grow, train, and feel secure. A fenced yard would be a big bonus so she can safely burn off puppy energy. Children 8+ would be a great match for her gentle, playful nature.   Ginger isn’t just adorable — she’s the beginning of a lifelong best friend.   If you’ve been waiting for a puppy to grow up beside you, love you unconditionally, and fill your home with joy… Ginger is ready to meet you.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 13, 2026, 10:46 am

Story
Meet Gidget — a tiny girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart.  At just 3 months old and only 9 pounds, this little Boston Terrier mix is as adorable as they come. With her short, stubby legs and stunning brindle coat, Gidget has that irresistible “stop-you-in-your-tracks” kind of cuteness — and once you see her face, you won’t forget it. Gidget is everything you’d hope for in a puppy. She’s playful, curious, and full of joyful energy, always ready to chase a toy or bounce around with her doggy friends. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would absolutely love a playful companion to grow up with.  But she’s not all zoomies — Gidget has a soft, snuggly side too. She loves to curl up close, soaking in all the affection she can get. She may be just a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a short moment and you’ll see her sweet, loving personality shine through. She’s currently working on pad training and, like any young puppy, she’s still learning. She’s trying hard and making progress every day — she just needs a patient home willing to guide her as she grows. Because she’s still so young, Gidget will thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to help her learn, play, and feel secure. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for her, giving her space to safely explore and burn off that puppy energy. She would do best in a home with kids 8 and older who understand how to be gentle with a small pup. Gidget isn’t just cute — she’s the kind of companion who will grow into your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your daily source of happiness. If you’ve been waiting for that one special puppy who will steal your heart and never give it back… Gidget might be the one.

Story
Greta Gremlin is the BEST grumpy looking hugger you will ever meet! Her long legs are always reaching out to you hoping to get picked up or at least some really good petting. She is soulful as she stares into your eyes, hoping for some warm gentle time with you. Add in another playful dog (she lives Rigby the weiner dog in the same rescue/foster home) and she can flyyyy around the room, carry toys and tennis balls for play, steal food like a lurking lion and then scream like a banshee when she gets caught 🤣🤣🤣. She is quite the fun personality! She is a burrowerer and you have to see which pile of blankets moves when you call her name to look for her. She snuggles tight against you all night looking for maximal cuddles and warmth. She was found in the country, had been living in a field for at least a week near a construction site for a house. It was February and the temperatures were in the 20s and 30s and needless to say she really had to fight to survive. She is mouthy in play and young enough that her teeth are still sharp so not recommending her for small children or older people with thinner skin. She loves to give a chin nibble when you go to give her a kiss. She would eat a 40 pound bag of food if you let her 😬. Estimated 3 years old. Contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application. fenced yard required.

Story
Name: Oswald Sex: Male Estimated Age: About 4 months old (as of 4/22) Best Guess for Breed: Boston Terrier Mix Weight: About 18 lbs (as of 4/22) Lives With: Dogs, kids and all people! Housebroken? He’s working on his potty training and making great progress! Rescued from: Alabama Story: Oswald (or Ozzy, as we’ve been calling him) is a spunky, adorable little guy. He is a dark brindle with some white patches, and a unique little black-and-pink nose. Ozzy loves to follow his humans around the house and see what they’re up to— he likes to be a part of whatever may be going on. He loves our toy box and pulling all of his toys out, one by one. He is pretty good about knowing what he’s allowed to chew on (what is a toy vs. what is not), but he is still learning that slippers, although fuzzy, are not toys. Regular shoes have been safe in our house, though! As far as obedience training goes, he knows “sit” and “paw”. He is still learning how to walk on the leash but has made fantastic progress in a short time. He has also made impressive progress in house training! He will bark at you to alert that he needs to go out— he’s still a puppy, but as long as you follow his cues that he needs to go outside, accidents are easily avoided. He does well in his crate overnight, quickly settling in to his blankies and falling asleep. He’s not very fond of being in the crate when he can hear people still in the house yet— he will cry for a short time but is making progress and learning to settle himself. Finally, the best part about Ozzy is his affection! He LOVES to snuggle. If we are on the couch, he is asking for “uppies” (“please pick me up and put me on the couch with you!”). It’s very cute— he is easily able to jump up on the couch by himself, but he prefers to perch up on the edge of the couch and wait to be lifted up. He quickly snuggles up next to you, either nuzzling his nose into you wherever it will fit, or resting his head on your chest to gaze up at you. It’s been very sweet having such a snuggly, loving puppy in the house! The fee to adopt Oswald is $475. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. If you think that Oswald might be your perfect match, apply today!May 13, 2026, 11:11 am

Story
This animal is a Courtesy Post. We are working with the owner to rehome Frankie & Nori. These 2 must be adopted TOGETHER!The owner would like for you to still submit an application with us to adopt Frankie & Nori. The Furry Paws Foster Inn cannot guarantee the vetting that the owner has done for Frankie & Nori and it would be up to the new adopter to obtain these records from the current owner.Below you will find the bio for Frankie & Nori by the owner:Frankie is a very loving, caring, and nosy pup! He will eat absolutely anything, and sleeps 90% of the time. He LOVES playing with his bff Nori (his brother, a jack russell mix.) he’s completely house trained and will let you know when he needs to use the bathroom as he stands by the door. He does destroy his toys, so I suggest rope or hard bones!Nori is the most loyal, sweetest boy. It genuinely breaks my heart to rehome him. He listens well and always wants attention and pets. He loves being pet, but most of all LOVES tennis balls that squeak, please buy him some. He loves naps with his brother (frankie, a boston terrier also up for adoption with him.)Nori is skiddish of loud noises especially when things are dropped. These 2 must be adopted TOGETHER!Owner notes both animals are fixed and current on Rabies & Bordetella.

Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain… Ian might just be your perfect match. This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. Snuggles Included: Once the zoomies are out, Ian is all about couch time. He’ll curl up beside you, toy in tow, and drift off while you watch TV. The perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Communication Style (aka his signature move): Ian has the best voice—a raspy, screechy, baby pterodactyl sound that he proudly uses to let you know when he’s ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. It’s hilarious, endearing, and very effective. He’ll also quietly go sit by the door, so keep an eye out—he’s a good boy who just needs you to notice his polite signals. Mealtime & Care: Ian is an enthusiastic foodie, so he uses a slow feeder bowl to keep mealtime safe and comfortable. Medical Transparency: Due to his past injury, Ian has diabetes insipidus. The good news: • No injections required • Managed with oral medication twice daily • Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well-managed, and he’s living a happy, active, zoomie-filled life. The Perfect Home for Ian: • An active home that enjoys play, laughter, and a little chaos • A consistent adopter who can manage his simple medical routine • A respectful dog companion—or he’d love being your one and only • Someone who appreciates a quirky, lovable personality Ian isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’ll make you laugh daily, keep life interesting, and then curl up next to you like he’s always belonged there. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
