Story
Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (December 20). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Walks ahead of you but does not pull -Loves car rides -Has done well in public in restaurants and stores, walking downtown, at our local Halloween Trunk or Treat (750+ kids were there) -Crate trained -Foster said about 50/50 on housetraining -Can be tested with cats upon request Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from October 8: https://youtube.com/shorts/8BachD_7RAo Mitzi is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. Now, you can look at me and KNOW that I am special!! Physically I am special and emotionally I am SPECIAL TOO ) I love everyone AND I am great with dogs/cats and pigs!! Can you believe it?? Now, I am a great boy, 3 yrs old and a little underweight but that is ok :) I have had a rough three years... my family got me when i was a baby and little did they know that the "breeder" was not honest with them about my health issues.... I have a "redundant esophagus" which basically means I either have a sliding hiatal hernia OR a pouch created by fold in the esophagus... each term means I have had the propensity to eat and vomit. SO, luckily I have had all the diagnostics needed to assess and the plan for my eating and post eating is simple!! I get one pill about 30 minutes before I eat and then I sit quietly for 15-30 min after I eat. My diet is softened dry food and canned food with water to make mushy :) I am looking for the BEST home!! Everyone who meets me falls in love...I am kind of like a gargoyle :) My eyes look both ways and I am a low to the ground silly boy. I am such a good boy, you wlll be lucky to love me for life!! I am waiting for you!!! Local adoption only $350 (in TX only)

Basement Babies - Coal Did you know that November 1st is a holiday? It is because it is my birthday and we will need to celebrate it every year!! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I am the largest pup of the litter and the one who is a beautiful caramel color. I am very sweet and love to chase my siblings up and down the hallway to the room where our buddy, Busy Boots hangs out. She is great to play with and loves us puppies very much! I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Anyhow, I won’t last long as I am adorable, if I do say so myself! Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600
