Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (December 20). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Walks ahead of you but does not pull -Loves car rides -Has done well in public in restaurants and stores, walking downtown, at our local Halloween Trunk or Treat (750+ kids were there) -Crate trained -Foster said about 50/50 on housetraining -Can be tested with cats upon request Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from October 8: https://youtube.com/shorts/8BachD_7RAo Mitzi is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus.
