Story
Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (December 20). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Walks ahead of you but does not pull -Loves car rides -Has done well in public in restaurants and stores, walking downtown, at our local Halloween Trunk or Treat (750+ kids were there) -Crate trained -Foster said about 50/50 on housetraining -Can be tested with cats upon request Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from October 8: https://youtube.com/shorts/8BachD_7RAo Mitzi is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Looking for a little dog with a lot of heart? Meet Ian! This pint-sized black and white pup is living proof that a broken hip and medical needs do not mean a broken spirit! Ian's hip has healed but he is on daily meds for a medical condition, Diabetes insipidus. Despite it all, Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of playful energy that is absolutely contagious. Ian may be small, but he has a big love for life. He thrives on attention and is constantly looking for a game of seek with his toys or a good cuddle session. He plays well with other dogs, making him a great potential new sibling for your current furry friend. When it comes to his favorite things, toys rank high on the list, and food is right up there too; he's happily not picky about his meals... He eats from a slow feeder bowl to make sure he doesn't get too overzealous with his meals and is able to digest well. Ian is looking for a loving home where his joyful personality can shine and he can get the care and affection he deserves. Now, you can look at me and KNOW that I am special!! Physically I am special and emotionally I am SPECIAL TOO ) I love everyone AND I am great with dogs/cats and pigs!! Can you believe it?? Now, I am a great boy, 3 yrs old and a little underweight but that is ok :) I have had a rough three years... my family got me when i was a baby and little did they know that the "breeder" was not honest with them about my health issues.... I have a "redundant esophagus" which basically means I either have a sliding hiatal hernia OR a pouch created by fold in the esophagus... each term means I have had the propensity to eat and vomit. SO, luckily I have had all the diagnostics needed to assess and the plan for my eating and post eating is simple!! I get one pill about 30 minutes before I eat and then I sit quietly for 15-30 min after I eat. My diet is softened dry food and canned food with water to make mushy :) I am looking for the BEST home!! Everyone who meets me falls in love...I am kind of like a gargoyle :) My eyes look both ways and I am a low to the ground silly boy. I am such a good boy, you wlll be lucky to love me for life!! I am waiting for you!!! Local adoption only $350 (in TX only)
