Mitzi is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Mitzi is a female Boston Terrier/Cattle Dog mix and has just turned a year old (February 7th). -She weighs around 30 pounds. -Very friendly -Missing one toe from her right foot (you can see in pictures and video). Doesn't bother her in the slightest! -Has the cutest underbite! -Energetic, full of life. Happy to be here and have dog and human friends to play with -Couch potato -Walks on a leash. Walks ahead of you but does not pull -Loves car rides -Has done well in public in restaurants and stores, walking downtown, at our local Halloween Trunk or Treat (750+ kids were there) -Crate trained -Foster said about 50/50 on housetraining -Can be tested with cats upon request Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from February 7th: https://youtube.com/shorts/nYLNJb33sRc?feature=share Mitzi is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. Charlie is a 1.5-year-old Boston Terrier/Lab Mix weighing about 50 pounds — the perfect medium-sized bundle of pure love and goofiness. His story began at a mechanic’s shop out west, where kind people made sure he had food and water. Unfortunately, life on the street wasn’t easy for such a gentle soul. Other dogs picked on him, and sweet, slightly clueless Charlie never quite figured out how to stand up for himself. After one rough encounter, a good Samaritan got him veterinary care and kept him safe until he could find a real home. Now safe and thriving, Charlie's true personality shines: he is an absolute sweetheart who greets you by bouncing up like a 10-pound puppy trapped in a 50-pound body. Personal space? He’s never heard of it. Hugs are his favorite thing in the world. Charlie loves everyone he meets — adults, kids, strangers, visitors — if you have hands, he would like them on him, please and thank you. He also loves other dogs and is happy to have an easygoing canine companion. He’s so non-confrontational that even the resident cats chase him around the house… and he just goes with it. This lovable goof is playful, affectionate, and endlessly cheerful. He would thrive in a home that can give him attention, guidance, and lots of snuggles. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a cuddle champion, and a dog who will greet you like you’ve been gone for years every single time you walk in the door, Charlie is your guy.
