🐾 Adoption Update! 🐾 There will be no adoption event this weekend, but that doesn’t mean the cuteness stops! 🥰 Throughout the week, we’ll be featuring some of our wonderful cats and dogs who are still waiting patiently to find their forever homes. 💕 We will still be doing meet-and-greets for anyone who is pre-approved to adopt, so if you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now’s the perfect time! 🏡🐶🐱 Just fill out the adoption application below to get pre-approved — it’s quick and easy! ✨ Meet Tux! ✨ This sweet boy is around 6 to 8 years old and has been with our rescue for almost two years waiting for that special home to call his own. 🖤🤍 Tux is paralyzed from the waist down, but don’t let that fool you — he doesn’t let anything slow him down! 💪 He does have a little wheelchair, but he prefers to scoot around on his own, and he gets around amazingly well. Because of his paralysis, Tux wears diapers or belly wraps and will need a home that can give him a little extra care and a lot of love. ❤️ He’s great with other dogs and kids, and he absolutely loves to play with squeaky toys — they’re his absolute favorite! 🧸 He’s up to date on vaccines and neutered, ready to roll (or scoot!) right into your heart. 🥹 Tux is truly one of a kind — a happy, loving boy who just needs someone special to see past his differences and give him the forever home he’s been dreaming of. 🌟 Thank you for watching and for always supporting our rescue mission. Tragedy has struck one of our adopter families, leaving this deeply bonded mother-daughter pair urgently in need of a new home.In January 2022, sweet Daisy came to us and delivered a litter of puppies in our care. She and one of her babies, Izzy, were adopted togetherand theyve been inseparable ever since. Izzy has always been a mamas girl.This week, their world was turned upside down. The woman who gave them a loving home was tragically killed in a car accident. Her family cant keep the dogs and has asked us to take them back.Now Daisy and Izzy need someone to give them a second chancetogether, if at all possible. Izzy is the perfect girl: Great with kids Good with cats and dogs Loving and easygoing Daisy (the mama) is more sensitive:Shes fearful of strangers and takes time to warm up.She is not aggressive, but has occasionally nipped when scared.She needs a calm, patient home that will let her adjust at her own pace.We know its a hard time for dogs needing homes. But we also know theres someone out there who can offer these girls the stability and love theyve lost. Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus.
